I've seen the Eiffel Tower and I've seen the Grand Canyon. The Eiffel Tower, sir, is no Grand Canyon.
Actually the Tower is an ugly structure sitting in the middle of some very old beautiful buildings and streets. JMHO

You are so right about the German tourists. I have been at the same European resorts (years ago) as them and they are a rude obnoxious breed. The men anyway. They are the ones who wear the spandex jock strap for bathing suits but you can barely see it for the white bellies hanging to their knees......eeuuuuuu

Oh my, guess we aren't spending our money over there. Got breaking news for you France --- you won't be seeing me anytime soon either. Can get good cheese in Wisconsin, fine wine from California, and frog legs and snails don't impress me much.
