one of my friends coats her signs in honey or something else sticky so if they DO steal your sign - at least they will be punished!
Leave a note on the sign somewhere saying "Theft of this sign guarantees that we will donate $20 to the BC04 campaign. Thank you for supporting BC04."
If you don't have a video camera .. borrow one and catch them in the act!! It's a crime to steal election materials.
