First of all, EU members setting aside their differences... not likely. But even so, Isreal can get anything it needs from the U.S. EU may try to isolate Isreal, but they wont extend it to the US. They have way too much to lose. Their plan is doomed to failure.

Don't forget, most of those EU members set aside their difference during the early years of WW2 and had no problem fitting into the German European model. All nationalities, except for Russians, Poles and Serbs and Jews and Gypsies were active in the SS with a minimal of a brigade and most had a division or two.

Only when it became obvious the Nazis were loosing did the rats start to jump ship.

I can see the US lowering interest rates again. That should make the EU crap their lederhosen.
