well, it wasn't an apology from O'Donnell, but he was chastised by management. And it was an apology from MSNBC. That's as good as we're going to get...let's hope MSNBC and Pat Buchanan made a more personal apology to John O'Neill.
(Suzanne, I'd say Buchanan offered maybe 10 sentences to this subject, with no replays, and while that may seem meaningless, I think it's probably a first.
O'Donnell at a loss for words? My guess is he is on suspension and refused to apologize. Just a hunch.

I would have been happy if Pat would had something to the effect that a decorated Vietnam Veteran did not deserve to be treated in this manner. That may have been enough for me. Forget firing O'Donnell, I think that would never happen, but they could have done a better apology than they did.
apologize to John and the 250+ other decorated veterans that were impugned by O'Donnel's savage verbal attack.
Who does MSNBC think it's fooling? If they don't fire O'Donnell its a slap in the audience face. When Michael Savage said something and not even on his MSNBC show, they fired him so fast. I suppose its OK to fire Conservatives but not Liberals. MSNBC is in the tank for Kerry. After this your left knowing they are.
It's not the least he could do; he didn't do ANYTHING....to do "the least" you have to "do" something!
OTOH, it's good to hear Chrissy and Kerry talking about the ammo dump though, isn't it? Making fools out themselves.
