I don't see it playing this way though
What if the initiative in Colorado to split EV's passes?

Yea, and you forgot about Colorado where it looks like almost a certainty that it's electoral vote is going to get split. In that case it would be 266 Bush and 272 Kerry.

W should break 3,000,000. He had better. There will be near 6.5 million Florida voters this time. Take that to the bank.

I don't think he is an oracle, just a shill that tries to play it both ways.
We will know Wednesday if his tap dancing saves his bacon or not. I hope he gets discredited big time.

keep in mind, that the RATs have spent the past year actively trying to destroy this president. The best they could do was less than 47%. Also keep in mind that these polls are based on the people being asked to tell the truth. Who has ever heard of a RAT telling the truth?!?
The RATs will have low turn out. They are counting on new voters to win, and if new voters figure they are on the verge of losing then they are more likely to decide not to wait in long lines to vote.
Don't worry folks, we won this election in 2000 when we realized we almost blew it by not showing up and we won it again on 9/11 when everyone in this country was thinking, "Thank God Bush won." Also, don't worry about the Redskins game, the Cowboys won today and that is all that really matters.

I agree. I don't understand how almost all the polls conclude Bush is winning nationally, but their state numbers are absolutely all over the board. I just want to see their explanations after the election. Of course if kerry is beaten soundly, you know the democrats are going to cry foul, thinking these polls were showing kerry with a much better chance of winning.

Maybe this will calm some of you down. The final Gallup poll in the 1976 race had Ford at 47% and Carter at 46%. Carter won 50 to 48 percent in the popular vote and 297 to 240 in the electoral college. Hope that helps.

That W.Va. guy won't be an issue. If his defection were to count, the state GOP would replace him before the EC meets.
To: montereyp1
This is another absurd poll result. It contradicts just about all the other polls. The polls over the last few days are just NUTS!

500K new registrations doesn't translate into 500K new votes, 50% of those people don't exist and the rest of the legitimate ones break down on party lines 50-50%
Unfortunately for the socialists, there is a limitd supply of morons and south florida now votes with computers.
Its over for horse face.

I've come back to this again just to have another good laugh.
Gallup seems to have turned themselves into a joke here. What were they thinking?
To: Nosterrex
I guess Kerry doing worse than Gore with blacks, women, and jews smells like victory to some, but absent voter fraud it is over.

There will be 6.5 million Florida voters based on population growth.
If there isn't big growth there (and in California), total turnout will barely be above 2000. I don't see that happening.
