My 2nd vanity of the day and it is only a little after 7 on the east coast. Anyway, watching CSPAN Saturday night and saw the Cheney rally in Zanesville, Ohio. I looked that up on Mapquest and I see that I have driven through there a couple times. Anyway, the rally was extremely good. I admit that I am nervous about this election but what calms me is seeing the calmness and confidence of the Bush-Cheney team. While the VP was talking I mentioned to my wife that what I would like to see is President Bush win a second term and then about a month later have Dick resign due to "health" reasons. President Bush than appoints Liz Cheney as the VP. I know it is a fantasy but the Dems would go berserk!
Second thing - saw on the news last night when I got home that while Kerry - the Catholic - spent church services in a Baptist church, President Bush goes to Mass in a Catholic church! I thought that was great!
The Cheney's granddaughter shows up at a rally dressed as the Grim Reaper and labeled as Kerry's Health Plan. Too, too funny!
Hate to admit it--but Kerry ALSO went to a Catholic Church in Dayton. And I LOVE the Ms. Cheney idea.
Make Cindi the VP. Think of the squealing as the "racist" party appoints the first black or woman as VP. And she's VERY qualified to do it besides. Even if she were a white male, I'd say she was the one.
