From what I saw voting in Alexandria Va. this morning, there may in fact be reason for republicans to worry. If you know anybody who can vote in Virginia, do everything you can to get him or her to do so.
527s have been active here (NoVA). There was a pretty dispicable ad accusing Bush of conspiring to bring back the draft that ran last night during the 6:15 break in NBC4's local news (perfect time to nail the soccer moms and teenagers). I've also seen significant numbers of yard and road signage, and K/E supporters have been VERY active at the Metro Stations I commute from and to and have done at least three canvass sweeps through my particular neighborhood.
I'll admit to being a bit nervous - it seemed to me that they (K/E and Dems) were expending a lot of effort on an area that would provide them marginal returns in a state that would go red anyways, but when I went to vote this am (in what I think is a decidedly Dem-leaning neighborhood) just about EVERYONE (without regard to age, race, gender, etc) was taking the GOP sample ballot (Dem poll workers looked pretty dejected).
Can we have a rule where ANY newbie gets zapped for posting flaming vanities like this. There are too many threads going on now and many started by newbies.
In the stock world they are known as "bashers" whose only goal is to hit moral. This is a joke!
bump
Today, apparently seeing that FL was going to Bush, he has to create a new one: PA.
At my Virginia polling station (normally a 10 minute wait to vote) which went 90% for President Bush in 2000
I JUST WAITED IN LINE FOR 3 HOURS!!!!!
We're bringing Virginia home again.
How is it going to help? Bush being down will just entice Bush voters to the polls.
Virginia was abandoned long ago by Kerry, although the car pooling of people in the old folks home to the polls was noticeable in Alexandria today.
Goodygoodygoody, can't wait to see the Zog get his whippin with reality tonight. Goodygoodygoody
Kerry won't win Virginia.
That said, if hell freezes over and he does, we can go to bed early and cry because there is no chance in hell Bush would win.
Just Damm, Ms. Howlin.
They're crawlin outta the f'n woodwork this time around. I actually signed up around the 2000 election, but I don't remember it being this bad.
(I do remember the two guys you had to calm down that were calling each other clymers arguing about which state was going for who. That was kinda funny... "Boys, Boys, everybody calm down.")
LOL.....any mention that Zogby gave 99% of the undecideds to Kerry.
The only poll that counts is being taken right now. Zogby is an ass for continuing to try to move votes at this late date. Shut up Zogby, and let the election procede. As if we ever did need you, we sure don't need you now.
This "up for grabs" designation is ridiculous. Virginia will go for Bush by 5 points or more.
Zogby is dreaming and hopes that reality will track his fiction. How can he be prominent and credible after predicting a Bush victory last week, but then retracting that prognostication a few days ago to claim that Kerry will pull it out. If he has anything in common with Kerry, it is his flip-flopping.
Hey, let's start a new Zogby rumor: Bush leads Kerry by 12 in Massachusetts and by 15 in New York.
Can you dig it?
It's awful. Just awful. Everybody thinks we're all sitting out here, just dying to hear every single thought that goes through their minds.
This is NOT a chat forum.
I thought the Zogby brother were Christian Arabs!
***** BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!
ZOGBY IS THE BIGGEST DAMN FRAUD!
He waits till late on the day of election to come up with his "FINAL" polls??!! WHAT COMPLETE CRAP!
"Wait,wait... let me spy on the actual exit polls to fine tune my crappy polls..."
It's gonna be embarassingly close in Virginia.
Remember, the MSM is in cahoots with Kerry. They will report him as winning so Kerry can claim victory early. Kerry said Gore made a mistake last election by conceding then trying to prove he won. Kerry campaign said a few weeks ago that they would declare victory early so Bush would have to "prove" he won.
