I let my adversary off the ropes and he came back and kicked my ass. I'll not make this mistake again. Four short years until the next bout. Pick an opponent and stay on them until they're out

Nothing wrong with the winner "reaching out" to the losers, and asking them to get on board. They ARE the losers, and if they want to fall in line behind the President, it will be good for the country. Good point. Since when do the vanquished dictate terms to the victors? We can be gracious in victory and invite the defeated to join with us, but we're under no obligation to toe their line. They can work with us constructively, or get out of the way and stand off to the side, or try to stop us and get run over. Anyone with any sense would see what the least desirable of those choices is. But 'Rats aren't generally known for making sense.

"If they had won there would be no talk about "healing".
You know it.
We won.
Now we need to act like it.
