Bill Owens's problem is that he's unknown for a lot of people and has had a marital crisis.

As much as I love Rudy G., I think he's too liberal on abortion to win the 2008 nom. Much better to have him run against the Hildebeast in 2006 for Senate.

Just my opinion.

Jeb has said he won't run. He and Condi were my favorite ones. Condi won't also likely.

I also think so. He could defeat Hillary.

A wonderful ticket: Frist for President and Giuliani, Vice-President. We could regain all the Red States and: NY + NH + NJ + WI.

George Allen (R) vs. Mark Warner (D)

Two former VA governors.

I just don't see Hitlery being nominated by the Rats.

I think Condi Rice and Bobby Jindal....a black woman academic strong on foreign affairs and defense, somewhat moderate, but able to appeal to conservatives, and a Catholic, Indian from the South, who is a policy wonk, young, and quite conservative.

Guiliani and McCain spent considerable time in New Hampshire during the last three months stumping for W but also for many State races.
They were featured in lots of radio ads and voice over TV ads.
Big advantage to Rudy and McCain.

Bill Frist is a weak majority leader. I don't want him to be the candidate.

Brownback would like to, and he may actually do it. But while he is a rock-solid conservative and a good senator he also has an unfortunate tendency to start his mouth before engaging his brain. He may be a better vice-presidential candidate than presidential candidate in 2008.

McCain is coming to NH in two weeks for a speech of some kind.

Bill Owens's problem is that he's unknown for a lot of people and has had a marital crisis.

That has got to stop knocking off good GOP candidates! No marriage is perfect. Mine, his, no one's.

I think they'll have to save Guiliani for New York if Hillary decides to run for the Senate. He can win NY.

If she decides to run for President (though I think she missed the boat), he can resign, run as a VP and the seat will be filled by a Repblican (I believe).

The only way the Dems will regain the Whitehouse is by turning pro-life. They want a win no matter what it takes and they can justify it by saying the court knows more about human life now...(Dumb, I suppose...but they have to put the blame someplace.) Kerry tried to pull it off with his "As a Christian, I think it's wrong but maybe you don't think it's wrong"....cra*

GEORGE ALLEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's got the same wry smile and sunny disposition of Reagan but unlike some RINOs an iron-clad belief in conservative social and economic principals. He'd have this year's red states sewed up before he got out of the gate and would be an even or better bet to take states like Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Put Condi as his running mate--ballgame over.
