"Not McCain. Too much cancer and other health issues."

Not to mention that he is a RINO who always had something nice to say about the traitor John Kerry.

Remember what McCain said about the Swiftvets? He called them "Dishonest and Dishonorable". McCain should be deported to Vietnam along with Kerry.

Jeb Bush definitely fits your requirements for telegenic and optimistic. But can't you just hear the liberals yell already? Dynasty! Oh dear. McCain will have difficulty as too many of us consider CFR anti-constitution.

We should run our best candidate because the drumbeat for Hillary will be unbelievable.

The drumbeat may be high with the MSM, but IMHO Hitlery is far too controversial to be elected. Unfortunately, the same holds with Jeb, simply because he's a Bush.

What about Vice President Cheney and Zell Miller?

Some combination of George Allen, Michael Steele, Norm Coleman and Bobby Jindal would make me happy. If W can find a position for Pat Toomey in this administrarion for exposure, add him.

I just don't see Hitlery being nominated by the Rats.

Why not? I think she is the first person most democrats think about for 2008.

Is Sundquist the guy who raised taxes? I guess he has to crossed off the list. Sorry, I don't follow distant states' politics that closely.

Why did he bring piglets into your state capitol?

If his name was Jeb Smith, we would not be talking about anyone else.

Correct, but it's not and we are.

Why do you think Hillary missed the boat in the presidential race?

Giuliani has had marital problems as weel. Bill Owens will get his name out there. He has already been endorsed by Club For Growth. If Jeb doesn't run look for Bush to endorse him. The two are close. That would give him the acknowledgment he needs.

Mark Sanford would be a disaster. I am a conservative SC Republican, and I voted for him, and he is okay as a Governor, but he is too odd to be President. His stunt of bringing piglets into the SC State Capitol and letting them poop on the state house carpet was enough for many South Carolinians.

This SC resident loved the piglet stunt. It was great. I'm a huge fan of Governor Sanford. That being said, he would make a great VP candidate, but I'm sure he's ready for the top of the ticket.

And she'd run a boring, uninspired Dole-like campaign, a guaranteed loser at best.

I wished I could be as optimistic as you. I would think that the dems would see her as the one person with enough 'star power' to represent them. I don't think her campaign would be boring..I think it would be hateful and vitriolic.

She wouldn't go against Bush because she (1st) She had no political record (2nd) She was a woman opting for Commander In Chief in War Time (3rd) She is obstinately pro-abortion (4th) The Bubba Legacy of Perversion was still fresh in our minds (5th) She's proven herself as a "loudmouth, screaming b****" (6th) She's proven that she is not the smartest woman in the world....she got beaten out by a little intern called Monica.

Now she has a Political Record but it is NOTHING. They put her on the Armed Services Committee for a reason but when she went to Afghanistan, she requested specifically the company of soldiers from New York...including Ithaca (the City of Evil)....in other words...Dems. Soldiers were far from flocking to her.

We know what she is...A leach.. hoping to feed from Bubbas base....But she ain't Bubba.

"The only way the Dems will regain the Whitehouse is by turning pro-life."

Actually, they could nominate Bill Richardson - a Hispanic with Washington experience and currently governor of NM. Would put AZ, NV, CO and NM in play - more than enough to compensate for OH. And they wouldn't have to change a single thing about their political philosophy.
Pubbies need to get to work on the Latino vote - even the mindless Dems see that population segment as their future, since they are dead meat in the South.
