It's a good think I'm not God, because by now I would have worn out my "SMITE" button.
They make the mistake of thinking that a well-crafted sentence is true to itself. . .and that a string of 'finely-tuned' words sounding good to the ear; is suffciently convincing.
I am beginning to think the sound of 'one hand clapping' might be just these people who are in love with their own voice; and yet cannot hear how empty and inauthentic, their words are.
Too bad; all they do is demonstrate what is a 'waste' of good vocabulary. . .

Funny that an apostate Brit should call on God, on whom they have turned their collective backs, to save America. Americans did raise their eyes from their own sidewalks and looked towards heaven in prayer, a practice that, unlike some nations, many of us are still accustomed to doing, and asked His blessing.
When was the last time Britain did that, or filled their empty churches with the faithful? The author would better serve his own nation by turning from their moral malaise and giving praise to the King of Kings. Why is Britain so concerned with who Americas president is anyway, what imagined slight or misuse are they accusing us of committing against them?
