Homosexual Agenda Ping - there's so much lode here it's hard to know what to respond to.

In fact, experts said local health departments and the Desert AIDS Project are doing virtually everything that can be done to stop the spread of syphilis: public education and testing.

Everything except telling the truth - that "gay" sex is inherently dangerous and health destroying, and that no one has to be "gay".

"There’s not," Do said, "a simple answer.

There is a very simple answer but Mr. D'oh doesn't want to hear it.

Another comment in the article was that it's not just a "gay" problem - that it will spread into other "communities" (I loathe that word when referring to groups by what their sexual practices are) by way of bisexuals. That's too rich. They tried to tell us that all of us normal people were going to get AIDS, too. It didn't happen.

Let me and Scripter know if anyone wants on/off this pinglist.

I am not being callous about this. I am very sorry about people, whoever they are, getting horrible diseases. But if they contract such diseases because they engage in deviant, unnatural and unhealthy sexual practices that they KNOW are risky, they not only bring it upon themselves, but knowlingly infect others.

All the while propagandizing to recruit new brethren (victims) and use OUR tax dollars for ineffectual and craven public health policies.

"I wouldn’t want the heterosexual community to feel like they’re not at risk, because this is going to spread to other communities," said Robin Johnson, assistant director of social services for the Desert AIDS Project, the lead agency on desert syphilis.

I'm not at risk.

Wait a minute, yes I am. I'm at risk of losing more tax dollars to find amoral "cures" and "prevention" for diseases that are perfectly curable and preventable.

"The disease, health officials say, is being spread in the desert almost exclusively by gay men, many of whom are also HIV-positive. "

And we're being "bigots" by not letting these people marry? They obviously don't give a damn about what they spread and to whom... and I don't give a damn about them.

Maybe if they shut down places like C.A.M.P. Palm Springs, a clothing-optional gay resort?!

We suggest that this sort of information be required to be taught in any school in which they tell young people that homosexuality is an "alternate life style" not to be regarded as wrong.

No - it's perfectly legitimate, if you consider that the town with the highest absolute numbers of cases is #1. I figured that out after a couple of minutes, but it didn't sink in at first.

.... COMING TO A SCHOOL NEAR YOU!

Homosexuality is embraced by the likes of NEA, Planned Parenthood, HRC and taught in our schools disguised as a tolerance program!

The wording of the article makes it clear that this is mainly a "gay" problem. Every time someone says, "It's not just gays," you can be sure that it is mostly gays.

The question is why? There are many theories, but no definitive answers.

One of the most common is that gay men have begun engaging in risky sexual behavior because they’ve grown tired of the safe sex message, or are no longer concerned about AIDS.

Duh! Ya' think!!!!

Here's another theory: The Syphilis Fairy is a homophobe making her rounds disproportionately among innocent gay men -- all at John Ashkroft's command, of course. I mean, the whole thought that an STD could be spread by promiscuous and unprotected sex is just too outlandish to believe!!!!!

Guess I am a bigot, too. These people are perverted deviants who are being allowed to adopt innocent children, thereby exposing them to this sick behavior. DESPICABLE!!
