"....should a nuke hit us or any of our proven allies, that Mecca and Medina both will be utterly wiped off the face of the earth. Immediately and irrevocably."

Even though I emotionally agree, the problem with such a policy is that it is terroristic. We have to be more moral than our enemy and not resort to his kind of tactics.

Actually, a similar policy referred to as Mutual Assured Destruction (MAD) was one of the keystones in our standoff with the Soviet Union during a little brush-up we like to call the Cold War.

How soon we forget.

Excuse me but "those tactics" defeated the Soviet Empire, and won the Cold War!

What could be more moral than ridding the world of vermin?

Have to disagree with you on this one. In the interest of the United States, I agree with Reagan philosophy - one dead American soldier gets you one city gone (Libya got REALLY quiet after a German disco, had a "problem"). Also consider the first rule of war - Nobody ever got their ass kicked for being too strong.

Besides, what morals do our enemy possess?

What the allies did in WW2 was perfectly moral. The reason we won World War 2. We fought more brutally than they did. We bombed the Germans and Japanese into submission. You don't win wars by being less nasty than your enemy. IslamiNazis won't be defeated by showing them peace signs and handing them flowers.

Seriously, Why do you say this? And exactly what are you saying?
