At a minimum, when people are put into ovens or beaten to death, you SEE the results of your actions, you HEAR the screams of the innocent and the suffering. That is what makes it that much more evil.
It's fine to have your beliefs, but try to be friggin objective about it. Shooting kids in the face and raping women and slitting their throats takes a far greater evil than aborting an embryo.
Old Europe will be muslim in a generation.

1.2 children per family.
Not even replacement level.

If the party cannot do what is relatively painless on the behalf of life then it is a good clue as to how hard the party will fight when push comes to fork in the brain.

Why the hyberbole, bordering on falsehood and libel?
We oppose the legalized slaughter of over one million innocents per year. You think we're nutjobs. Frankly, from my perspective, the term "nutjob" rightly applies to folks who see the legalized slaughter of over one million innocents per year, and do not think that this is the most important, the overriding social issue.
Folks talk about tax cuts and Social Security reform, and I'm all for that. But if we get all those wonderful things, but don't protect the unborn in law, I'm reminded of the old joke, "Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you like the play?"
Our law permits paid assassins to unjustly kill over one million innocent human beings per year. There is no greater atrocity under which we currently suffer. There is no greater crime which we currently permit. There is no greater carnage, no greater destruction, no greater evil for us to fight in the present day.
Sorry if you are unable to see that clearly.

Smart prolifers learned a long time ago that threatening our potential allies is a poor strategy.
Exactly. As a pro-lifer, I'm continually dismayed at how we are sunk by our own activists pushing too hard, too fast... it's especially discouraging when we are finally making advances against the free-for-all abortions we've seen for decades. But if you say anything along those lines you are attacked viciously here.

Does that mean that if I'm able to cover up my atrocities, to prevent you from seeing the results of my actions, to prevent you from hearing the screams of my victims, that I'm off the hook?
So, if I spare you having to witness my atrocities, I mitigate my evil?

Seems like some here would rather live in slavery, so long as abortion was banned.
The other thing that bothers me is that they seem all too willing to use the machinery of the State to achieve their objectives, rather than incremental and socially desired limits on abortion. But if they think they will ban abortion even up to the zygote level, they are fanatics who have no place making policy. The morning after pill is not a g-damn crime against humanity. Partial birth abortion IS, but there's no gradients with these guys.
And the threatening their alleged "allies?" Real smart and real classy.

Most of the one-issue voters represented by the pro-life advocates fail to recognize this.

So, you're willing to sacrifice 3,500 innocent children PER DAY in the U.S. (150,000 in the world) in the name of those things that you mention!? I wonder how those children feel about it. I wonder how God feels about it.
While I believe that the war on terrorism is the top priority right now, a little perspective is still useful. More innocent children are killed per day in the U.S. than innocent people in the U.S. killed by terrorists in the last 100 years.
The sheer magnitude of this holocaust is beyond imagination. You may not notice the 55 MILLION innocents slaughtered annually by abortion worldwide, but I assure you that your God does. If you are around 40 years told, that means that approximately 2 BILLION innocents have been murdered by abortion in your lifetime. And your priorities are what? A flat tax? Tort reform? One day you're going to have to explain yourself to your Creator. How do you think He's going to feel about it?
Maybe, one of those 2 billion children was going to be the guy that cured Cancer. But, instead, his mother paid a butcher to dismember him and suck him into a sink. Maybe among the 40 million innocents killed in the U.S. in the last 40 years was a future Republican President who was going to bring the country together and get all of the things that you listed done and more. But, instead, his mother paid a professional murderer to inject his protective amniotic sac with a strong salt water solution causing him to swallow and inhale it into his delicate body while over a period of hours the solution burned his skin away. He died a painful, agonizing death and his mother spontaneously aborted his tiny, burnt corpse 24 hours later.
So, who is the problem? The pro-lifers or those who don't fully comprehend the consequences of their apathy and inaction towards this ongoing holocaust? We are worse than the Germans who intentionally ignored what was occuring in the Nazi death camp just outside the city. We have heaped condemnation upon them, but refuse to accept our own for letting this far greater holocaust persist.
