Reaction by the losing side in last week's presidential election would be startling if it weren't predictable. . .
Other disparaging labels, including "stupid" and "moron" were hurled at Bush voters by various lefties. If so many people -- more than 59 million -- who voted for President Bush are stupid, what does this say about our costly and monopolistic public school system? . .
Some commentators suggest Mr. Kerry lost because he The left's last gasp to salvage something from the election is the suggestion that, having prevailed, the president should now "reach out" to opponents and "heal the rift." Does the left reach out to the right when liberals win elections? No, they exercise the power they've been given, and Republicans should do the same. If the left has hurt feelings, let them seek counseling from Dr. Phil. . .

This needs to be said again and again - the left seems to believe that when their candidate wins, we should pursue the liberal agenda. They also believe that when their candidate doesn't win, we should pursue the liberal agenda - and they have the nerve to state over and over again that conservatives don't get it. Let's spell it out for them - their side lost and this is our turn!
I was called a lot of nasty names last week, but then it's my own damn fault for listening to NPR.
Forget that "reaching out" BS.
Run the Liberals into the ground while we can, and bring some sanity back to American society.
Actually, it is more than 60 million.
Oh Schadenfreude, Oh Schadenfreude, da-dah da-dah da da dahhhh...
I wish I could remember the rest of the words of that song - I've seen it posted here a few times ...
bye bye libs ... lol... eat michael moore and moveon... enjoy your trip to france ...

Being called names makes me feel good, as then I know they are losing.
We wanted to do more than just feel sorry, we want to act on it and truly be sorry explained Hamilton as he passed out organic falafel to a group of Iranian students. If half of this country is bent on keeping that little monkey-weasel in office then the least we could do is show the world that not all of us are residents of, or treat people like they do in Jesusland.
To show their flair for the global taste-test, volunteers offered a variety of dishes, many with descriptive tags. Among them were Bush won now I falafel, Nu-cu-lar Noodles, Baba-Ganoush, I hate Bush, Bush Lied, and-I-dont-know-what-this-is-but-its-Deep Fried, and the ever popular Imitation Fish & Chimps (textured soy-protein patties in the shape of Bush with French fries).
One of the volunteers, Irma Bystrak offered her take on the dinner: Bush has killed these peoples babies. We have to do this to show them not all of us are oil-grabbing empire-building hate-mongers. I believe unless we do more things like this, most of us wont even be around to vote in 08. Hes creating terrorists faster than we can cover up for him with events like these.
We asked one of the visitors who refused to be identified, if he thought that an annual event like this would sway the worlds opinions of America. There is no getting around the fact that all Americans are Zionist pigs. We will eat your food if you serve it, then kill you. If the food is good, we will digest first.
Hamilton took a break from serving to sip some herbal concoction and give this final thought: I am really proud that we have taken being sorry to a whole new level. Some people just use web sites, but we show how sorry we are by serving this sorry food. Its here for everyone, and if we get our way, maybe by 2008, the other half of America will be sorry too.
60 million hicks can't be all wrong ;-)
I've been lurking around DU and other leftist websites for the past week to gauge the depth of their despair, etc. I've frequently seen lengthy tirades (far too vile to post here) against "Repugs" and "fundies" which end with the rhetorical questions, "Why is the right so hate-filled? Why aren't they tolerant like we are?" The left has a huge blind spot to the irony of their own words and actions. They really have no clue....
They can say that. Republicans shouldn't go a long with it. I have yet to hear what Democrats will do to reach out and help with the healing. Trashing the president, demanding secession, and calling conservatives ignorant religious fanatics might heal their wounded pride, but it doesn't do much else, except piss us off.
One thing they are absolute right about.
They are a SORRY bunch!
"We asked one of the visitors who refused to be identified, if he thought that an annual event like this would sway the worlds opinions of America. There is no getting around the fact that all Americans are Zionist pigs. We will eat your food if you serve it, then kill you. If the food is good, we will digest first.
And the left STILL doesn't get it!
This guy is telling them "Go ahead and feed us, we need the strength to slaughter you".
What a bunch of blind, crybaby MORONS!
I think the piece was satire. It just had to be satire....?
I wouldn't bet on it.
Especially considering all the other things the nutty left is doing.
Go, and sin no more. (:-)
Now, we have to make sure our Republican leadership hears us and moves the agenda with resolute speed. Those that get in the way, including any RINO'S will be crushed. We have only been asking for fair debate, and it was met with complete obstruction. The people have spoken with a historic mandate for the President, and a larger margin to move this agenda.
I hope when things get bogged down, Bush takes them to the woodshed everytime. Here's the thing. Perhaps Bush can tell them their raises will be approved as fast as the slowest legislation. Failure to show up for voting, will result with docked pay, and Congressional priveldges revoked a month for each day missed. Any Senator that fails to show up 50% of the time, will force a special election in their home state... as the peoples trust has been squandered.. :)
The only way we can deal with liberals is from a position of strength, so I'm with you. Their legacy of power is a tribute to the awful quality of education in our pub schools.
But, not a word about the liberal's passion for killing their own unborn babies.
Seems that there's a double standard among these do-gooders.
I ran into an NYU faculty member whom I know on the elevator on Thursday, more than a week after the election. She was subdued and didn't look very well, so I asked her how she was. She groaned out a response, and at first I thought she was going to say she had a cold or the flu.
Instead she said, "I still haven't gotten over . . . the . . . election, . . . gasp." I didn't know whether or not it would be acceptable to say that at least that was better than having the flu or a cold, so I said nothing. Actually, I suspect it was probably worse.
...this final thought: I am really proud that we have taken being sorry to a whole new level. Some people just use web sites, but we show how sorry we are by serving this sorry food. Its here for everyone, and if we get our way, maybe by 2008, the other half of America will be sorry too.
Since nobody else has applied for the job, I've decided to appoint myself as an FR "Whine Steward." I will rate the whines that get posted.
After all, many freepers are fans of a good whine, but tastes vary. Some freepers prefer a full-bodied whine from such noted producers as Michael Moore or Ted Kennedy. Others might prefer an aged red whine, which is primarily grown in the whineries around Berkeley and Ithaca.
The upshot is that 2004 is shaping up to be one of the great years for whines, on a par with 1994 and 2000.
I will be rating all the whines on a scale of one to five bottles. Five bottles represents a fine whine that can be shared with your friends for years. These are whines that should be sampled again in 2006 and 2008 so that we can all remember the kind of people responsible for marvelous whines.
One bottle means that the whine is flat. With a one-bottle whine, it's clear that something went wrong in creation. Perhaps the whiner spent too much time in the light of reason, thereby adding two much sweetness to the product.
Anyway, I will give this Beril-Liberal Times piece four bottles. Overall, this is a fine whine. The "Jesusland" reference adds a tangy suprising flavor that is becoming surprisingly popular. "Baba-Ganoush, I hate Bush" is a nice tart little phrase that is refreshingly distant from any logical argument. And most whiners won't be so honest as to use the term "Zionist pigs", although it's often buried in the flavor of many top whines.
I almost gave this whine the full five bottles, but I missed some common references. I didn't see accusatons about Bush being stupid or the stealing of the election and nobody is vowing to move overseas. Nevertheless, QuiMundus has found a delightful little whine from the great whine-producing region of New York City. He is to be commended.
Swirl that whine around the glass again, and you'll notice that Robert Redford has legs. He said he was moving to Ireland.
Well, I was referring to this whine in particular.
But it looks like I was fooled. This whine appears to be a satire. Even for a discerning whine steward, it's so hard to tell these days.
The left has lost. The '60's are over. A majority of the public is tired of being forced to accept every ideology, sexual depravity and secular idea the left wishes to shove down their throats. The election showed they have pushed back.
When liberals call you names, it means you won the argument.
Go, and sin no more. (:-)
I only listen to them after elections to hear the whining...does that make me a whino?
For the discriminating whino try tucking some Ripple Whine into your paper bag. One example from the liberal talking points vinyard:
...blah, blah...the appointment of Gonzales as Attorney General...whose recommendations as White House Council on treatment of detainees at Guantanamo Bay produced the mindset that led to the Abu Graib prison scandal!
This whine had a peculiar "RIPPLE" effect throughout the mainstream media (reported in almost the exact same words by the Big Three and some others).
