In Case You Didn't Know: Democrats Still Don't Get It

Even after having their standard bearer, Bill Clinton, chide them for their lack of ability to “speak the language of morality”, Democrats are still whining about the “trailer trash” and “corporate lackeys” that went to the polls and voted to re-elect George W. Bush.

The former President’s argument wholly misses the point of what happened on November 2nd. Bill Clinton thinks it is the language and not the policies that voters rejected in John Kerry. The truth is that voters came out in record numbers for Bush because President Bush believes and lives the very values his campaign talked about. President Bush spoke during the Republican Convention about promoting a “Culture of Life”. This culture, the President believes is the relevant rally for America to answer in this century. After decades of anything goes, sexual obsession and devaluing of innocent human life, President Bush sees the need to redirect America’s attitudes away from the Progressive Agenda and on to an agenda that promotes personal responsibility, less sexual content in free media and more respect for life, whether it be for a fetus, an aging person or a person condemned to a long and painful death. America responded to these ideals and therefore saw Bush as the best man to lead this nation

What they can't see is that everyday more and more former democrats realize they have nothing in common with today's liberals.

It as ALWAYS been the language of the democrats.
"Tax cuts for the rich", health care, education, minimum wage, abortion, and the language goes on and on. When is the last time they delivered? Clinton followed the Newt revolution because he knew it was the only way to get re-elected, not to mention Bob Dole who was not a favorite of many or any conservative.

Does anyone else see the irony in this?

I really do not think that the liberals will ever get it. I also think that they will keep whining until one gets elected to office. But as for those who came out and voted, you can depend on them for future elections.

The day the democrats finally get it, John Kerry will apologize to Bush and the rest of us.

"...I hold out little hope that the left wing of the Democratic Party can make this leap. The Democrats have survived by making causes of people they can use to gain and maintain power. The Republican Party, in recent decades, has been about empowering Americans to do for themselves what the Democrats claim more government handouts can do better. The two ways of thinking cannot exist in tandem."

Hillary is for more government giving her more power over the people - Americans have proven they can do "it" for themselves - Hillary's ilk will sink the old USA with cradle to grave entitlements - Republicans don't need nor want unconstitutional entitlements. Democrats don’t think ‘you’ are bright enough to let SS be privatized – what they really mean is that they want the money NOW for their ‘special projects’ i.e., pork. Privatized social security for the young will make them excellent tax risks later on with money to spare…Republicans know this and encourage it. If the DNC want Nancy Pelosi and Reed to lead their party then they have not seen the light…after this last election Socialism was sent away bleeding and broken with nary a political- medic in sight. Seems there is no cure for Socialism - it eats its young and self in the end.
