I am being sued for something that happened at the December 2000 Freep of Joe Lieberman.

JimRob has allowed me to hold an internet fundraiser to help defray the costs of my lawyers fees.

I am broke and thousands of dollars in debt, and depending on how much I can collect here, I amnot sure if I can continue or work to sign a mutual release if offered.

Right now, we have ended the discovery phase, and are awaiting the deposition of the man who accused me of assaulting him that day.

That charge is a lie.

The following story below is my short account of what happened that day.

I am tired of anyone, of any religion or faith, beating
other people over the head if they don't agree or subscribe
to that religion or faith . . . and then accusing them of
God punishing them for not being of the "right" religion or
faith is folly. A lot of people don't think the Catholic
church is the ONLY church or religion or faith. You do.
That is nice, but don't try to use God to beat the rest of
us over the head if we don't like everything about the
Catholic church, just as you don't like everything about
the collective Protestant church evidently. Religious
correctness is kin to political correctness.

The Rev. Boise Kimber has, for the second time, quit his post with a Newhallville development corporation amid scandal. Kimber's ally John DeStefano set him up at the Hazel Street Development Corp. a few years back in order to steer him hundreds of thousands of federal dollars to build new houses. DeStefano gave Kimber a lot full of decrepit houses that, under the policy of DeStefano's Livable City Initiative, should have normally been cleared to make room for a park or community center or parking lot. Kimber had to quit that post two years ago, after a court found him guilty of stealing an elderly woman's funeral money. (DeStefano tried to avert the verdict by testifying on behalf of Kimber's character.) To help the mayor save face, Kimber resigned his post as Hazel Street's president. But the pair worked out a sly deal. Kimber became a consultant to the Hazel Street group -- while his brother-in-law nominally presided over the group. Kimber continued to collect tens of thousands of dollars a year (up to nearly $52,000 a year by this spring) for barely documented work. Now the FBI is looking into Kimber's work as part of its investigation of DeStefano administration corruption. Kimber was finally prevailed upon to resign late last week, as his prefab homes started going up on the lot. How well I remember the struggle of 2000, Race. In fact,
I remember that incident from pictures posted about the
time it happened, before the guy blew it up. Sounds like
he has the M.O. of staging these incidents by making
threatening moves, then when people have to stand in his
way before he hurts someone, he has the "assault" he wants.
I was on FR at that time for a while, my screen name was
"Providence", but I lost my internet service provider and
was off for a couple of years, then came back as "Twinkie"
when I got another provider.

I'll send something to help out. We have to back each
other up if FR is going to be able to do anything of any
significance. There will inevitably be things like this
come up on occasion because of the nature of the people we
are dealing with on the other side. (My husband and I
attended a rally in Nashville in Legislative Plaza when all
that was going on.)

Some thoughts. I assume you are represented by counsel, Ensure they are not just running the clock.

#2. You need to begin your own proactive media campaign. You need to get media on your side. It can be done.

#3. You should consider a counter-suit, with the involvement of 3d parties. For example, was he there representing any organization, IN ANY WAY? Sue them. Did anyone pay him to be there? Sue them Is he on any charitable or private city boards and in the process of that, is there the possibility that he was acting with or for them? Sue them. What does his sign say? Sue anyone mentioned thereon. Who made the sign and sold it to him. They knew or should have known it could be used as a weapon. Sue them. Who did he have lunch with? Could he have mentioned his plans to them. Sue them. If his "church" or organization is not incorporated, it is them, be default, a partnership and each member or associate is responsible for his assault of you. Sue them.

Or in each case shown above, call and ask for the exact spelling of their name and their address, since you will need the address "to serve some legal papers."

I fell off the wagon 4 or 5 years ago when my Dad went in the nursing home.

I backslid terribly, and was photographed several times with alchohol in my hands at the last Innaugural ball.

That is why I dont jump on those threads debating religion so much anymore, I would be a major hippocrite, even though I have been faithful in returning to Church 3 years ago.

I had to apologize to many people who once called me consistant, because I showed I was just a sinner in need of a Saviour.

It is also one reason I am not so harsh, I see sin in my life so much more clearer, I see my opwn human frailty so clearer, and I no longer jump in someone's face about what I see as wrong or non-Biblical.

I got a real lesson onjust what sin is, and it isnt in our behaviour, it is in us as people...all of us, and especially me.

And THAT is why I dont make those threads so much anymore, I would rather share when appropriate, not start a fight over it as if I have somehow conquered sin in my life, for I learned I never did, and that I never will.
