drinking half a bottle of wine a day can make your brain work better, especially if you are a woman.
*ROTFLMAO* Where to begin with this...

Half a bottle of wine has a most pleasant effect on my wife's brain... yeah, I guess I'd consider that "working better"! *lol*

Research to be published tomorrow by academics at University College London has found that those who even drink only one glass of wine a week have significantly sharper thought processes than teetotallers.

Does it follow then if you are a wino then you can expect to be another Einstein.

This is utter silliness from its inception!

the findings should not be used as an excuse for heavier drinking.

Dang...they just **had** to ruin the good news. Oh well, I don't have to worry...I am not a heavy drinker, I only drink Light beer : )

Time to restock the wine cellar!
I always knew that stuff was making me smarter.
I can keep other alcohol for months and not touch it.
But once I open a bottle of wine, I won't stop til it's empty.

A drug is a drug, is a drug, whether you shoot it, snort, drink it or drop it on your eye. The "sharpest" people I know are not drug users.

Didn't alchohol destroy brain cells? Even alchohol sharpens you up in short terms, it will be nothing in long term if it kills your brain cells, your organs, and your life by a car accident.

I've done the best studying in school at some level of intoxication. I had the best grades in my class at the Cisco Academy. Other students asked "How I did it?" I told them the secret is late night studying with a beer in one hand and a mouse in the other.
