Yeah, we know, but we just can't resist: "Twenty John Kerry supporters met for their first group therapy session in South Florida Thursday, screaming epithets at President Bush as they shared their emotions with licensed mental health counselors," reports the Boca Raton (Fla.) News, which simply owns this story. "The first of several free noontime therapy sessions at the American Health Association in Boca Raton was designed to treat what mental health counselors have dubbed Post Election Selection Trauma (PEST)."
The News's reporter wasn't allowed to attend the meeting but received an "anonymous transcript." Here are some choice quotes:

Do they have milk and cookies and nap time after their sessions?
Combine P.E.S.T. with assisted suicide and we have a winner!
My favorite quote was:
"In psychology, we call it 'learned helplessness.' After you zap a caged dog twice, he stops moving because he knows there is no place to go. That's what happened with these Kerry voters. They've been zapped so many times that they're on the verge of giving up on politics."
Please, give up politics, your vote doesn't matter. In fact, move to Canada...
Oh, we should be so lucky!
Ahh... how appropriate, Boca Raton translates from Spanish to English as "Mouth of a Rat".
Just like movie vampires encountering holy water. Amazing!
At least we know there will never be a book called "What went wrong with the Democratic Party?" It's pretty obvious what went wrong--their party became populated by feminized men and angry women.
As long as they give up their citizenship . . . I don't want them being able to vote in our elections!
Any competent psychiatrist would have detected that these pests had pre-existing mental disorders prior to November 2,2004.
Wot a case for medical mal-practice!
Hmmm... how do you spell Demofascist Freakin' Idiots ???
-"If I had a cardboard cutout of President Bush, and these people wanted to throw darts at it, I would let them do it," Robert J. Gordon, AHA executive director, told the Boca News after the session. "It's no joke. People with PEST were traumatized by the election. If you even mention religion, their faces turn blister-red as they shout at Bush."-
What kind of a therapist is he? Instead of treating the problem, he addresses only the symptoms? Bush isn't the problem, pal - your patients are looney tunes in search of an object!!
"Combine P.E.S.T. with assisted suicide and we have a winner!"
How about PESTICIDE
You win!
So something like Assisted Suicide Supporting Post Election Selection Trauma (A.S.S.P.E.S.T.) - is that what you were going for? :-)
"In psychology, we call it 'learned helplessness.' After you zap a caged dog twice, he stops moving because he knows there is no place to go. That's what happened with these Kerry voters. They've been zapped so many times that they're on the verge of giving up on politics."
Obviously dogs are smarter than Kerry voters.
NOW we're getting somewhere!! These folks have no one to blame but the DNC. Any political organization that puts up their most radical, foaming-at-the-mouth, member and expects him to win is looney tunes.
These people should be pissed at the incompetence of the DNC, not at President Bush.
As an afterthought to my post above, follow the OJ link above and scroll down to the section titled, "Have You Stopped Beating Your Base Yet?" Precisely!!
