My wife and I took the grandkids to the Parade of Lights up here in NE Ct. Real nice. Loads of Merry Christmas stuff and a nice float whcih had the truth, "Jesus ids the reason for the season". My granddaughters weren't shy about saying either.LOL

I say turnabout is fair play... We should demand to have Christian/conservative floats, loudly denouncing homosexuality, in the next "gay pride" parade. (I know the thought of even going near such a circus is stomach-turning, but it might be interesting, no?) And we should demand that the name be changed to acknowledge all "sexual preferences (gag)", so as to be "inclusive." How about "The Parade of Proclivities?"

To think the aclu banned together with other than Christians to ban our CHRISTMAS celebrations, steals our money, then makes the communitites in which the litigation takes place, pay them, for making those citizens cowtow to a law ruled by the minority. Just puts gravel in one's girdle. IT'S TIME FOR US TO BAN TOGETHER AND BRING CHRISTIAN BELIEFS WHERE WE CHRISTIANS CAN SEE THEM. STAND UP CHURCH MINISTERS...PUT SOME STIFFENING IN YOUR BACKBONES.

We do not seek to use the ACLU, scuzzy bigoted Mayors, or nutcase leftie federal judges to stomp on the throats of other religions.
We do not seek to burn their religious books, censor their speech, or ban them from marching in parades or carrying signs about their holidays or sing their religious songs.
Do not attempt to do that to Christians.
There lies the path to the cause of their own future problems.
I will boycott any business that bans Christmas signs on their premises while grabbing the dollars for Christmas presents with both sticky hands.

I Googled both the mayor and the "Downtown Partnership" group that sponsored this outrageous "Parade of Lights" and I could see no indication any kind of Jewish influence, as implied in your Hickenlooper remark.
It is secular humanists that are responsible here and they should be the focus of our concern. (IMHO) Our friends in the Jewish community are rarely involved in this kind of action.
