You may consider this splitting hairs but you cannot swallow your tongue. It is possible for your tongue to fall back and block your airway and interfere with breathing.
This is usually a problem with narcotics and alcohol intoxication where relaxation is the problem.
Most people seizing don't breath well because they can't coordinate a breath with the tonic, clonic contractions but that is a problem with the diaphragm not the tongue.

One of the few things I learned working in EMS is that you cannot swallow your tongue.

Ski Vail every other year or so ... interspersed with Park City, Utah. What people forget, you are skiing at altitude in Vail, easily over 7000 feet. Any major exertion is amplified at that altitude.

Any major exertion is amplified at that altitude.7000 isn't that high, but the top of the lifts at Vail are even higher, at about 11,000, which is enough to affect some people, especially if they are coming from sea level and immediately skiing.

I can only describe the experience as swimming through a melted marshamallow Thanks for the explanation. We east coast skiers are sitting here scratching our heads, "you mean you can fall without getting a bruise"?

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with a girl who saw Combs pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious. LOL! That's a *beautiful* sentence, Xena...just beautiful!
