I'm on the Red River(about 70 mi.North of Dallas and a little West)and tonight might be in the teens but all roads are clear.

After tonight the forecast has no freezing temps. My outfit will be going camping in the morning for our Christmas get together and everything looks good, weatherwise, for at least a week.

Ok. When yall are having heat problems at 80, I'll remember this when we are a tad warm at 108:') Just kidding. It's so rare around here that we do get excited. Unfortunately , since we don't get the opportunities to learn we don't drive well in it. If our freeway wasn't shut down it would still be pedal to the floor and tail gating. I don't even drive on it when it's been raining.

I spent 10 years roomping around the deserts of 29 Palms, CA. & Yuma, AZ. I LOVE the heat, I sometimes think of my self as a large rattlesnake out baking on a rock. Anything over 90 feels great to me! :) I used to work in temps that exceded 130 deg F on the airfiels in Yuma during the summers.

Well I will consider myself put in my place lol. It's stil cold here though. 2 of my sons are in the navy and I went to Chicago to see them graduate. It was a lot colder but it didn't feel like it until I was out in it for awhile. The wind here, is what gets you.

Same here 100 miles SW of Houston(moved here in 1989 during the snow!). We have 5 inches now(10:53 CST) and it's still coming down hard! Our remaining 2 children(of 6) at home are loving it and we are too. A white Christmas for 2004.

Maybe the Global Cooling stuff we were fed in the 1970's was right too!

I'd say it has snowed 2-3 inches here at my house in Northwest Corpus Christi since 7:00 PM and there is snow all the way back to Laredo moving this way and that is some 150 miles away.

5-8 looks very possible.
