Too long to go into here, but I have a liberal friend who had direct dealings with Daschle. Daschle is a despicable hardcore a-hole.

His role may have been defensive, but the manner in which he conducted himself was offensive.

When I first heard his whiny voice, I put on my best Zell Miller hat and said "Get out of my face!" With that, I made a run for the remote and returned to FOX. How disgustingly shameless and ineffective he is (and was), but, of course, Russert will spare no amount of effort to make him a regular on MTP. Uggghhhhh!
