I don't have any PERSONAL credentials. I tend to trust FRiends' credentials though, that I've known for years here and other places.
They are stills from the movie, "Journey from the Fall". There is a website for the film at http://www.journeyfromthefall.com/index.asp
It is amazing how some people on FR cling to some fantasy world and will grasp at anything, no matter how remote, to try to prove their point. This is a perfect example where stills from a current movie filmed in Thailand are being used unscrupulously to further a private agenda.

"Why did they do this to me?" was their uniform question.
"Because they COULD" was my uniform answer.
NOTE: I personaly have had my fingers placed in the large and long scars that are left from formerly Free Vietnamese men & women's having had their stomachs cut open by their Communist Vietnamese captors. Scars that are about one inch wide, one half inch deep ..running from their middle stomach down to their navel.
There is NO agenda here, except that of sharing the CLARITY of what really happened in a once Free South Vietnam after we Americans abandened it to heavily Soviet-backed Communist invaders from the North.
As the North used more tanks for its final solution in the South, at the end, than Gen. PATTON needed to win World War II with in Europe.

The agenda I was referring to is the imagined link between persecution in Vietnam and Christianity. I know very well what happened in Vietnam, and Laos, and it was horrible. Making up lies and spreading disinformation, such as what is being done with these movie stills, is an insult to those who did go through this punishment. Since when is "fake but accurate" part of the FR dictionary?

...Depictions are all that we have to share with the World about what happened in Vientam after we abandoned it to its fate. Just like the same Anti-U.S. Democrats are trying to make us do again in Iraq. The Communist Vietnamese weren't in the business of taking photos to share with the World of what they were doing to their once Free captives.

Vietnam & Christianity? But there is now a religious statue of the blessed Virgin Mary weeping tears of sorrow for Freedom's return to Vietnam currently in Saigon. A miracle that the Communist Government is forcing the head of the Roman Catholic Church there to tell the people that all is a fabrication and not real.
Photos appearing in Vietnamese-American Media of this actual weeping statue show us otherwise.
Oh please. There is plenty of documented proof of what happened. Have you been back to Vietnam (or Laos) since the war?

Pictures of victims from Cambodia's Kiling Fields we've seen but not of what the Vietnamese Communists did to other Vietnamese ..after the Fall ..of Saigon.
None they want to share with the World, any way.
This is the real service "JOURNEY from the Fall" will give to the world when widely seen. As I was blessed to see in a premiere movie preview on the 30th Anniversary of the Fall of Saigon ...in the town I grew up in here.

If you were in earnest, then categorically excluding descriptions of Christians being persecuted, FROM Christians, would not be a good place to start.
