It's a small book, often much longer than wide, with lines pages, wherein guest write brief notes to the host/hostess,after a party or a stay for a weekend or longer. They used to be quite ubiquitous, but now,are becoming something rare.

I don't know if guest books were a part of most homes, but they used to be for summer and/or vacation homes.

Why did you wait so long to do something ?

Some kids are just fine and not at all irresponsible. And no,many DO finally "get it",if not the first time around, immediately after being hit squarely in the face with reality.

Ah. The only time I have seen anything remotely like that was at funeral homes and graduation parties.

Thank you for the explanation.

Yeah you're right. Whatever it was you said.

Seriesly though, I am slowly and painfully becoming more financially prudent in my old age. I refrained from racing out and draining the accounts to put a downpayment on a new bike. Now, that is something.

I've worked too hard to get to whar ah'm at, to not have the little things that make life enjoyable though. My work shirts all have holes in 'em because I'll pay the cable bill before I go buy new duds... Priorities...

The whole debt thing does weigh on a body though, I'll grant you that... Better not to think too much...

Hi all - sorry to have dropped off. Still struggling with side transplant issues.

We didn't wait. We've been struggling with this since high school. Nothing has seemed to make any difference.
