ROFL!

[Snip]

Investigators were suspicious about the report because the head carving was backwards, as if done while looking into a mirror.

lj will be gone from FR for a short while. I'm the volunteer until little jeremiah gets back online.

If you want on/off the list let me know.

Police said a 22-year-old man was charged with filing a false report about a hate crime.

I would assume that falsely reporting a hate crime has more severe consequence or penalty than simply falsely reporting a crime?

If a man kills a man because he hates him, is the dead man any deader than a man who is killed by a man for no reason at all? A man kills a woman because she cheated on him versus a man who kills his wife because he wanted too after drinking to much, which is worse? neither. A crime is a crime and the rest is politics worming its way into the legal system which is a very dangerous situation too.

If there is any justice, this will result in permanent scarification for this moron.

I nominate this guy for a full Darwin Award. I ask the judges to consider that, while normally those who survive the consequences of their extreme stupidity are only presented with an honorary version of the award, the improbability that the gaf in question will ever actually reproduce should render him eligible for the full award.
