If Manning can't win this week against a Patriot secondary that is plagued with injuries, he's no mvp.

The Chargers could've had him. They took Ryan Leaf instead also known as Mr. $20 million pissed away.
Peyton seems like a decent fellow but his rookie brother and old man are asses.

From what I saw of Manning's performance yesterday... Holy cats, but that guy can throw. More importantly, his receivers know how to get open. Most importantly, Manning gets the ball to exactly the right spot, at exactly the time his receivers are open. Unbelievable.

Oddly enough, his records are even more impressive than most think. Peyton set all of those records while throwing fewer passes than in any other year he has played, and has only played in 57 quarters (of the 64 in the season).

He's the hands-down winner, but unfortunately the award won't get the Colts past the Pats and Steelers.

I don't know where this "Manning is not as good outdoors" stuff comes from. I would agree that Manning has not been as good outdoors in Foxboro against the Patriots but that's because the Patriots have been a great team with a great Coach and a great QB in his own right. Last year Peyton had a better record outdoors than in the dome. He won every outdoor game he played until the Colts ran up against the Pats in the AFC championship game. Two years ago the Colts played the Broncos in Denver on Sunday night in a blinding snowstorm. The Colts won that one in overtime. The Colts destroyed the Michael Vick led Falcons in Atlanta last year by over 20 points. I don't see any basis for "can't play outdoors" stuff.

He should've been unanimous. Michael Vick - WTF? Vick is a phenomenal talent, yes, but quite frankly, he's overrated. The Tampa Bay Bucs, as lowly as they were this year, routinely befuddled him.
Way to go, Peyton. Cut that meat, cut that meat, cut that meat!!

Great for Manning and I don't want to burst his bubble but, for the 2 weeks Manning was MVP Brady...
A) only played a portion of the game in the last week of the season and
B)Did not play at all this week.
