I say God bless her- God bless Teddy Kennedy, Howard Dean and Barbara Boxer and keep them well. Every time these guys open their mouths its worth millions in contributions to the RNC. Plus, its people like her saying crap like this that will keep the Dems out of power for generations. Smart Dems like Hillary don't spout this crap. All of my children and grandchildren live in the SF Bay Area ~ we were down there two years ago ~ I doubt if we'll do it again ~ let them come up here. :)

Sounds like you've earned the right to sit back and let the kids and grandkids come to you! Just have them send you postcards once in awhile so you can still enjoy some of the sights! You lived in some nice places here in the Bay Area....hope you're enjoying your retirement. Congrats on finding a conservative to spend that retirement with. Actually both my wife and I are recovering liberals ~ I was a member of Teamsters Local #70 in Oakland and drove big rigs around the Bay Area for 31 years, I was Shop Steward for 12 of those 31 years.

I retired in '86 at age 55 and I love retirement! :)

I'm quite certain Pelosi feels the last election in Iraq was more legitimate than this one since the turnout was reported at a higher percentage. But then how could one question the legitimacy of an election in which there was only one candidate and he got over 99% of the votes?

Pelosi needs to be hammered on this matter, but it won't be done by the mainstream media. She needs to be asked why the results of an election with multiple candidates and turnout larger than ours (as a percentage of the electorate) is not reflective of the peoples' will.

Pelosi's statements are political lob balls that need to be smashed back at her and the Democrats. The opportunity to take political advantage from her comments should have the eyes lit up in any Republican who isn't brain dead or asleep. Opportunities such as this one don't come along everyday.

I remember a leftist chatter in the political chat room I hang out at salivating when Saddam got 99% of the votes. What he failed to realize was that Saddam did not allow any competition, so if only 500 people had voted he still would have gotten 99%
