TERRI SCHINDLER SCHIAVO FEBRUARY DAILY THREAD 2005: TERRI IS OUR VALENTINE!
Free Republic and various sources | December 30, 2004, January 31, 2005 | Florida Voter

Posted on 01/31/2005 9:14:49 PM PST by TAdams8591

*Michael, HAVE A HEART !!!!!For Valentines Day give Terri back to her MOM & DAD, The Schindlers!!!!!!!!*

The Terri Schindler Schiavo Daily Threads are created month to month as we watch local and national news regarding Terri and her family.

Since Terri's supporters are in every time zone, you may see something FIRST. Please share news with us that you don't see here already. Now, why would you want to do that? Terri's Daily Thread for September/October of 2004 was viewed over 15,000 times. Terri's November Daily Thread was viewed over 6,000 times. December's thread is over 3,000 views. January 2005 Daily Thread was a RECORD HIGH!!!!!!! 15, 103 VIEWS!!!!!!

More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.

Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.

Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.

Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

See Terri's flash movies if you need more information. You can see for yourself that's she's interactive and follows the doctor's instructions.

Visit: http://www.terrisfight.org

NOTE: Terri's December Dailies are noted as a source above. There are lots of important links at the very top of that thread. If you missed Terri's Celebration of Life, you can click on it from there.

AGAIN WE HAVE A NEW RECORD: 15,103 views on the tote board for the Terri Schindler Schiavo January Daily Thread!

The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.

I need some help. Remember the TV commercials of Greer last August? Does anyone know the names of the people in the commercial with the exception of Greer, Hellickson and shea. Does anyone know the name of the deputy---could it be Cunningham? Does anyone know the first name? I understand there may be attorneys appearing in the ad--does anyone know there names? Your help would be greatly appreciated

You got that right! It is very frustrating how they are interchanging terminology to make it more palatable.

Never mind that Michael has illegally forbidden all efforts to feed Terri by mouth.

Thanx 4 this link BykrBaby. I copied this from it:

Visit this link. Is this where we are headed? http://www.nih.gov/news/NIH-Record/06_16_98/story06.htm

Here's an excerpt:
During the Nazi era, the medical establishment and the government were powerfully influenced by and largely adopted the preventive view as the dominant philosophy of medical care. Healthy people, who could contribute most to the general welfare, were of primary concern. The chronically ill or disabled, mentally or physically, were seen as a drain on society, requiring the healthy and robust to care for them and consuming a disproportionate amount of the country's resources while contributing nothing themselves. It was this view that allowed programs of forced sterilization and euthanasia to be carried out, with the cooperation of large numbers of the German medical profession, said Reich. He described this manipulation of the meaning of "care" as a threefold betrayal of medicine: a subversion of the moral standards of medicine, a betrayal of the trust and legitimate expectations of patients, and a betrayal of the public responsibility of the medical profession.

well, she should never have been on medicaid because there used to be alot of money in her account for her care and rehabilitation. It is my understanding that once this info became public, Felos said that she was no longer receiving medicaid....but that was back in late 2003 or early 2004

This brings up a question - how would HINO be stopped from removing the tube? The policeman? (Is there one there 24/7? Is one present in the room during HINO's visits (if there are any?))

22 Would a kick be the kind of direct blow that would produce that femoral abnormality?

24 That would be a possibility, yes.

25 Would being thrown into a sharp furniture corner?

2 That would be a possibility.

3 Would being struck with some sort of blunt object like a golf club or something do it?

5 Yes.

Absolutely disgusting that the Sheriff, the Attorney General, Greer, and the Governor have ALL IGNORED this deposition! Absolutely LUDICROUS that they can ALLOW Felos to claim that Terri received these injuries from OSTEOPOROSIS instead of via TRAUMA, as Dr. Walker said is likely.

I appreciate the desire for brevity, but it might be good to mention that doctors have said it is likely Terri would be capable of swallowing food if allowed to do so.

The removal of a feeding tube is a surgical procedure. A doctor would have to perform it. See here.

Annoyance of Crist's office is good. He's not doing his job.

THERE IS A WILD CARD TO REPORT IN THE LOBBYING OF THE FLORIDA LEGISLATURE. As reported by wfla television channel 8 this evening, THE FLORIDA LEGISLATURE IS WORKING ON A BILL THAT WOULD FOREVER BAN THE DEHYDRATION AND STARVATION OF ANY PERSON IN FLORIDA unless of course they have a written directive.

The wild card is that FLORIDA'S SENIORS ARE AFRAID OF EUTHANASIA, Thanks, grandma and grandpa. Thanks for standing up for Floridians! Seniors have been contacting the Florida Legislature to change the law. BRAVO!

Subject: Hearsay wishes of Terri Schindler Schiavo 10 yrs. after alleged "accident"

The words below inside the quotation marks are the actual words spoken during the Jan 00 death trial. It is on the basis of these words that Judge Greer concluded that "Terri wants to die." Remember that Terri did not have any advanced directives, living will or anything in
regards to her wanting to be starved and dehydrated to death. Remember also that she has been heinously denied rehab and therapy for 10+ years. This is it:

Joan Schiavo:

In the context of discussing friends of Joan's who decided to remove their year-old infant from a "ventilator machine":

"She had said that if her and Michael were ever put in that kind of a situation that that would be a situation that she really would not want to have to deal with, but she knows that her and Michael would make the best decision and that would be to do the same thing my
girlfriend and her husband did because she would not want to put the baby through anything like that." (Joan Schiavo Trial testimony 232:18-25, 1/24/00).

"Happened Maybe â ˜85 or â ˜86." (Id. 237:17).

"Her comments related more to what she would do as a parent for a child. (Id. 238-17-19).

They took all the tubing and everything off the baby." (Id. 233:2-3)

"We had stated that if that ever happened to one of us, in our lifetime, we would not want to go through that. That we would want it stated in our will we would want the tubes and everything taken out." (Id. 233:12-16)

In the context of Joan and Terri watching a movie about a diving accident:

"No. She did not want to live like that. She didn't want to go through that. Have people come and see her like that. Do that to her family and friends." (Id. 234:19-22).

"We had said during the time with that movie, at one time we had said that if, that we had always wanted stated, my husband and myself, make up a will. She would want it stated, and myself, I would, if it came down to something like that, we would not want any kind of life support." (Id. 236:25-237:5)

"The situation with my girlfriend's baby was when she lived here, not in Florida." (Id. 244:17-19)

Michael Schiavo:

In the context of Michael discussing a conversation with Terri about her grandmother's death and the effect on her Uncle Fred:

"She says, 'If I ever have to be a burden to anybody, I don't want to live like that.'" (Michael Schiavo 31:1-2; 1/24/03)

"She made the comment to me that she would never want to be like that. Don't ever keep her alive on anything artificial." (Id. at 33: 7-8)

Scott Schiavo:

In the context of the immediate aftermath of Michael's grandmother's death. The grandmother had been on a ventilator the last few days. Afterward, her grandchildren and spouses (including Terri) gathered at a local country club for lunch:

"And Terri made mention at that conversation that, 'If I ever go like that, just let me go. Don't leave me there. I don't want to be kept alive on a machine.' Pretty much everybody at the table that was in the discussion had made the same comment. No way I want to be kept alive on a machine." (Scott 1/24/03 at 102:18-24)

"And Terri was sitting with us and Terri made the mention that she would never want to be kept alive like that. You know, if it is her time to go, it's her time to go." (Id at 106:22-25)

Representative Wise and another representative were both on my tv saying that "seniors were afraid of euthanasia" (contrary to what the death lobby's been saying). The Florida Legislature wants to make the best bill so that we WON'T HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS EVER AGAIN. And, Terri's supposed to be included but watch Felos fight that. FELOS NEEDS TO GO BACK TO MILKING GOATS IN THE GREEK ISLES. He's done milking innocent Floridians.

MAJOR GRIPE WITH SHEPERD SMITH. HE SAYS THE FEEDING TUBE IS KEEPING TERRI ALIVE. Not exactly. Terri's breathing, her organs, her body is completely keeping her alive. ANYBODY WOULD STARVE IF THEY TOOK OUR FOOD AWAY. The feeding tube is NOT KEEPING HER ALIVE. It is the way she eats, that's all. FOX 1-888-369-4762. Terri and God is keeping Terri alive, THAT LITTLE TUBE ISN'T KEEPING HER ALIVE BUT SHE NEEDS IT UNLESS OR UNTIL SHE GETS TO LEARN HOW TO SWALLOW AGAIN! She can swallow her saliva already! Shep, don't make me mad!

I agree with you, but I think rightmarch obtained the info from Terrisfight.org, and I also think it should included that Terri CAN swallow.

"Schiavo Must Die": Judge Fails

Clear and Convincing Standard

Go the The Empire Journal.com for entire story.

“I don’t want anyone feeding that girl….the rule of law is that this girl must die”.

(The above is a quote from Judge Greer when Terri's sister and brother fed her soft food with a spoon when they removed her feeding tube, in the past.)

WHAT?! Can Terri swallow? What's wrong with this picture?

The legislature is in pre-session and they ARE WORKING ON A BILL RIGHT NOW TO PROTECT ALL FLORIDIANS, NO MATTER WHAT THEY ARE, SENIORS, DISABLED, OR WHATEVER THEIR CIRCUMSTANCES MIGHT BE. If there is no written directive, they must not be starved-dehydrated to death.

That will stop the slippery slope. I hope this bill is expedited. SENIORS IT SEEMS ARE SWAMPING THE LEGISLATURE. THEY ARE AFRAID OF EUTHANASIA. That is something new to me.

SHEP SMITH: The feeding tube keeps her alive. They have been battling for years. Feeding tube to stay - parents. Eric from the newsroom: There will be another day of legal wrangling in this battle that has lasted 7 years. Eric says "feeding tube is keeping her alive." (no). Michael's house picketed. Signs supported her parents to "Save Terri". Showing Michael's front yard in Clearwater. Terri's dad "We are begging and pleading with the legislature and governor bush for being murdered in cold blood." Felos: telegraphing to the legislature, telegraphing to the governor. He doesn't see intervention in this case.

FV: SOME PEOPLE ARE ALREADY COMING TO FLORIDA and MORE ARE JUST STARTING THEIR JOURNEY! I was giving directions to the courthouse today for tomorrow's hearing before J. Greer.

Tell us what you you think:

Why do the newsmedia always report as fact everything that is said by Michael Schiavo and his lawyer George Felos? Many of the things these people say are provably untrue, and yet the media keeps repeating their word as gospel.

Michael Schiavo claims that cameras would be an invasion of Terri's "privacy", but on a Larry King Live interview he seemed quite eager to describe her gynecological exams in indelicate detail.

Is it more likely that Michael Schiavo really is concerned about Terri's privacy, or is it more likely that he's afraid that if video of her was broadcast people would see she's not a vegetable?

If Michael really were certain his wife was in a permanent vegetative state, he should favor testing that would confirm that and bolster his case. Unless, of course, he thinks the testing might shows that she's aware and concious?

Finally, why does Michael not allow Terri's parents to make bona fide efforts to feed her by mouth? If, as he claims, doing so would risk causing her to choke, why should he object? He has openly stated that he wants her dead, and accidental choking would be a lot less painful than deliberate dehydration. The only reasonable explanation for his refusal is that something horrible might happen: Terri might be able to eat without a feeding tube. And if she could do that, he'd have no right to kill her.

And the SENATE BETTER JUST GET OVER IT. JIM KING BETTER JUST GET OVER IT. If the Senate tries to stop this legislation, we will need to BOMBARD THE SENATE. They are quite arrogant that we would ask for protections for the vulnerable. THEY CAN BE VOTED OUT OF OFFICE if they don't abide by the principle that WE ARE A REPRESENTATIVE GOVT. Tell us what you you think:

The following post was at the bay9 site (without paragraph breaks, btw, since apparently the site doesn't support them). It is reposted here to show people what we're up against.

Who is funding the Schindler fight to deny Terri's constitutional rights? Read the following -- they are not supporting the disabled -- they are promoting their own agenda.

The Terri Schiavo case: Following the money

By Jon B. Eisenberg

Jon B. Eisenberg is an attorney who practices in Oakland, California and is an adjunct professor at University of California Hastings College of the Law. His specialty is civil appeals, on which he publishes a widely-used California treatise. His work mostly involves commercial and liability disputes, but his occasional forays into pro bono work lead him to cases like Terri Schiavo litigation, where he filed a amicus curiae brief in the Florida Supreme Court on behalf of 55 bioethicists and a disability rights organization opposing Governor Bush.

Have you ever wondered who is paying the lawyers and activists trying to keep Terri Schiavo’s feeding tube attached? The trail of money leads to a $2 billion consortium of ultraconservative Foundations with close ties to Governor Jeb Bush.

The Florida Supreme Court will soon decide whether Governor Bush violated the Florida Constitution when he squelched a court order for removal of artificial nutrition and hydration from Terri Schiavo, whom the courts have determined is in a persistent vegetative state (PVS) with no hope of recovery, I am a California attorney who filed a “friend of the court” brief on behalf of 55 bioethicists and a disability rights organization opposing the Governor’s action.

A few weeks ago, on the day before oral argument in the Florida Supreme Court, I participated in a public debate on the Schiavo case at Florida State University in Tallahassee. Among the other participants were four lawyers supporting Governor Bush’s position: Pat Anderson, the attorney for Terri’s parents, Mary and Robert Schindler; Diane Coleman, who heads a group of disability rights organizations that filed a “friend of the court” brief supporting the governor; and Wesley Smith and Rita Marker, two behind-the-scenes pro-life activists whose specialty is opposing surrogate removal of life-support from comatose and PVS patients.

On my flight home the next day, while contemplating the evident fact that these four attorneys have somehow made full-time jobs out of their causes, I found myself thinking: “Somebodymust be paying these people.”

It turns out to be a very interesting group of somebodies. Internet research reveals that funding behind all four attorneys; the lawyers representing Governor Bush before the Florida Supreme Court; the groups that filed two “friend of the court” briefs in his support; and two new lawyers for the Schindlers, can be traced to members of the Philanthropy Roundtable. The Philanthropy Roundtable is a collection of foundations that have funded rightwing causes ranging from ultraconservative mainstays like abolition of Social Security and religious social engineering to fringe-group anti-tax crusades and United Nation conspiracy theories. Its members’ founders include scions of America’s wealthiest families, including Richard Mellon Scaife (heir to the Mellon industrial, oil and banking fortune), Harry Bradley (electronics), Joseph Coors (beers), and the Smith Richardson family (pharmaceutical products).

The chart accompanying this article shows a dizzying web of funding connections between six of the Philanthropy Roundtable’s richest members and ten organizations behind the Schindlers, their lawyers and supporters, and the lawyers representing Governor Bush before the Florida Supreme Court.

Here are just a few examples: Pat Anderson works with the Alliance Defense Fund, which received $142,000 from Philanthropy Roundtable members that include the Lynde & Harry Bradley Foundation and the Richard and Helen DeVos Foundation. Wesley Smith works with the Discovery Institute, which received $175,000 from the Lynde & Harry Bradley Foundation. Diane Coleman’s “friend of the court” brief is signed by the World Institute on Disability and the National Organization on Disability, which are funded by the Scaife Family Foundations, the Richard and Helen DeVos Foundation, and the JM Foundation.

The other “friend of the court” brief supporting Governor Bush was filed by the Family Research Council, which was formerly headed by Bush lawyer Kenneth Connor and which received $215,000 from the Lynde & Harry Bradley Foundation. Rita Marker’s organization, the International Task Force on Euthanasia, received $110,390 from the Randolph Foundation, an affiliate of the Smith Richardson family. Bush lawyer Robert Destro has tries to the Council on Economic and Policy Education, which is funded by the Randolph and JM Foundations.

The two new Schindler lawyers, Deborah Berliner and Brett Wood, are affiliated with Judicial Watch, Inc., which received $7,069,500 from the Scaife and DeVos foundations. And in the thick of this is Governor Jeb Bush, a former director of the Heritage Foundation. The Heritage Foundation is a creation of Joseph Coors and one of the most prominent member of the Philanthropy Roundtable. The Heritage Foundation has been funded to the tune of $47 million by, among others – you guessed it – the Bradley, Scaife, DeVos and JM foundations.

That’s a lot of money. No wonder they’re been able to keep the Schiavo litigation going for 11years.

During the Watergate scandal, investigative reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein werefamously advised to “follow the money.” In the Schiavo case, the money – all of it – leads to members of the Philanthropy Roundtable and Governor Jeb Bush.

Don't forget that you have this in your arsenal of Weapons of Mass Media Destruction ...

A Visit With Terri Schiavo

Attorney Barbara Weller

This past Christmas Eve day, 2004, I went to visit Terri Schiavo with her parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, her sister, her niece, and Attorney David Gibbs III. The visit took place at the Woodside Hospice for about 45 minutes just before noon.

When I knew I was going to visit Terri with her parents, I had no idea what to expect. I was prepared for the possibility that the Schindlers love their daughter and sister so much that they might imagine behaviors by Terri that aren't actually evident to others. The media and Mr. Schiavo clearly give the impression that Terri is in a coma or comatose state and engages only in non-purposeful and reflexive movements and responses. I am a mother and a grandmother, as well as one of the Schindlers’ attorneys, and I could understand how parents might imagine behavior and purposeful activity that is not really there. I was prepared to be as objective as I could be during this visit and not to be disappointed at anything I saw or experienced.

I was truly surprised at what I saw from the moment we entered the little room where Terri is confined. The room is a little wider than the width of two single beds and about as long as the average bedroom, with plenty of room for us to stand at the foot of her bed. Terri is on the first floor and there is a lovely view to the outside grounds of the facility. The room is entered by a short hallway, however, and there is no way for Terri to see out into the hallway or for anyone in the hallway to observe Terri.

From the moment we entered the room, my impression was that Terri was very purposeful and interactive and she seemed very curious about the presence of obvious strangers in her room. Terri was not in bed, but was in her chair, which has a lounge chair appearance and elevates her head at about a 30-degree angle. She was dressed and washed, her hair combed, and she was covered with a holiday blanket. There were no tubes of any kind attached to her body. She was completely free of any restraints that would have indicated any type of artificial life support. Not even her feeding tube was attached and functioning when we entered, as she is not fed 24 hours a day.

The thing that surprised me the most about Terri as I took my turn to greet her by the side of her chair was how beautiful she is. I would have expected to see someone with a sallow and gray complexion and a sick looking countenance. Instead, I saw a very pretty woman with a peaches and cream complexion and a lovely smile, which she even politely extended to me as I introduced myself to her. I was amazed that someone who had not been outside for so many years and who received such minimal health care could look so beautiful. She appeared to have an inner light radiating from her face. I was truly taken aback by her beauty, particularly under the adverse circumstances in which she has found herself for so many years.

Terri’s parents, sister, and niece went immediately to greet Terri when we entered the room and stood in turn directly beside her head, stroking her face, kissing her and talking quietly with her. When she heard their voices, and particularly her mother's voice, Terri instantly turned her head towards them and smiled. Terri established eye contact with her family, particularly with her mother, who spent the most time with her during our visit. It was obvious that she recognized the voices in the room with the exception of one. Although her mother was talking to her at the time, she obviously had heard a new voice and exhibited a curious demeanor. Attorney Gibbs was having a conversation near the door with Terri’s sister. His voice is very deep and resonant and Terri obviously picked it up. Her eyes widened as if to say, “What’s that new sound I hear?” She scanned the room with her eyes, even turning her head in his direction, until she found Attorney Gibbs and the location of the new voice and her eyes rested momentarily in his direction. She then returned to interacting with her mother.

When her mother was close to her, Terri’s whole face lit up. She smiled. She looked directly at her mother and she made all sorts of happy sounds. When her mother talked to her, Terri was quiet and obviously listening. When she stopped, Terri started vocalizing. The vocalizations seemed to be a pattern, not merely random or reflexive at all. There is definitely a pattern of Terri having a conversation with her mother as best she can manage. Initially, she used the vocalization of “uh’uh” but without seeming to mean it as a way of saying “no”, just as a repeated speech pattern. She then began to make purposeful grunts in response to her mother’s conversation. She made the same sorts of sound with her father and sister, but not to the same extent or as delightedly as with her mother. She made no verbal response to her niece or to Attorney Gibbs and myself, but she did appear to pay attention to our words to her.

The whole experience was rather moving. Terri definitely has a personality. Her whole demeanor definitely changes when her mother speaks with her. She lights up and appears to be delighted at the interaction. She has an entirely different reaction to her father who jokes with her and has several standing jokes that he uses when he enters and exits her presence. She appears to merely “tolerate” her father, as a child does when she says “stop” but really means, “this is fun.” When her father greets her, he always does the same thing. He says, “here comes the hug” and hugs her. He then says, “you know what’s coming next---the kiss.” Her father has a scratchy mustache and both times when he went through this little joke routine with her, she laughed in a way she did not do with anyone else. When her father is ready to plant the kiss on her cheek, she immediately makes a face her family calls the “lemon face.” She puckers her lips, screws up her whole face, and turns away from him, as if making ready for the scratchy assault on her cheek that she knows is coming. She did the exact same thing both times that her father initiated this little routine joke between the two of them.

The interactions with her family and our appearance in her room appeared to require some effort and exertion from Terri. From time to time, she would close her eyes as if to rest. This happened primarily when no one was paying particular attention to her, but we were talking among ourselves. After a few minutes or when one of the visitors approached her and started to talk directly to her again, Terri would open her eyes and begin her grunting sounds again in response to their conversations. Although I approached her, leaned close and stroked her arms and spoke to her, she did not verbally respond to me.

Terri’s hands are curled up around little soft cylinders that help her not to injure herself. I understand that these contractures are likely very painful, although there was a time when Terri was receiving simple motion therapy when her hands and arms relaxed and were no longer as constricted. When the therapy was discontinued by order of her guardian and the court, the contractures returned. These contractures would apparently be avoidable if Terri were given the simple range of motion therapy she previously received. It is very sad to observe firsthand these conditions that make her life more difficult, but that would be correctable with little effort.

When we were preparing to leave, the interactions with Terri changed. First, she went through the joke routine with her father and the “lemon face.” When her niece said goodbye to her, Terri did not react. Nor did she react to me or to Attorney Gibbs when we said our goodbyes to her. When her sister went to her to say goodbye, Terri’s verbalizations changed dramatically. Instead of the happy grunting and “uh uh” sounds she had been making throughout the visit, her verbalizations at these goodbyes changed to a very low and different sound that appeared to come from deep in her throat and was almost like a growl. She first made the sound when her sister said goodbye and then, amazingly to me, she made exactly the same sound when her mother said goodbye to her. It seemed Terri was visibly upset that they were leaving. She almost appeared to be trying to cling to them, although this impression came only from her changed facial expression and sounds, since her hands cannot move. It appeared like she did not want to be alone and knew they were leaving. It was definitely apparent in the short time I was there that her emotions changed—it was apparent when she was happy and enjoying herself, when she was amused, when she was resting from her exertion to communicate, and when she was sad at her guests leaving. It was readily apparent and surprising that her mood changed so often in a short 45-minute visit.

I was pleasantly surprised to observe Terri’s purposeful and varied behaviors with the various members of her family and with Attorney Gibbs and myself. I never imagined Terri would be so active, curious, and purposeful. She watched people intently, obviously was attempting to communicate with each one in various ways and with various facial expressions and sounds. She was definitely not in a coma, not even close. This visit certainly shed more light for me on why the Schindlers are fighting so hard to protect her, to get her medical care and rehabilitative assistance, and to spend all they have to protect her life.

I realize that Terri has good days and bad days. There are obviously days when she does not interact with her family, as they had previously told us. There are also apparently days when Terri is even more interactive and responsive to them than she was on the day I visited. Since this visit I am more convinced than ever that the Schindlers are not just parents who refuse to let go of their daughter. There really is a lot going on with their daughter and potentially, it seemed obvious to me, Terri could improve even more with appropriate care and 24 hour a day love that can only come from a dedicated family. As I watched her, my foremost thought was that on the next day, Christmas, Terri should not have been confined to her small room in a hospice center, nice as that room was, but that she should have been gathered around the Christmas dinner table enjoying the holiday with her family.

I think it is great all those fine people are fighting for conservative causes....after all, it is their money. However Michael Schiavo's fight to starve his wife to death is paid for by Terri Schiavo's fund...which was in place to pay for her care and rehabilitation. What is bay9's problem?

I noticed that Fox News fixed that trailer. We are having an impact. Finally.

At least Shep said feeding tube, instead of life support machines. They are getting better. We just have to keep after them.
