I thought she moved away from that nonsense.
I imagine all of America will have a problem with that after the MSM gets through with it.
I think every President in my lifetime has had an embarrasing brother, but this may be over the top.

No more baggage than Mr. No-Pants President and his tuna AND a whole lot more credible and qualified.
I second your "ugh" to McCain. I think George Allen has real potential.
It's too bad he got out of the game (politics) when he did. I wish he had hung around and moved up the ranks a little, maybe ran for Senator or Governor. The out-of-wedlock fathering is well-known at this point but this nation has most definitely shown that it can be forgiving of old transgressions if the candidate is otherwise a stand-up guy, and now on the straight and narrow.
I would like to see JC come back. I like him.
He'll never get past the South. From the racist side and moral side due to children out of wedlock.
Before or after marriage?
Exactly, that is the kind of stuff DemonRats do.

Two outside of marriage. If he was a Democrat, it wouldn't be a problem. But he's a Republican Baptist preacher. The media will hound him until he falls apart.
What has he accomplished that would qualify him? Just asking, assuming you'd like to see him run.
Hmm...not good. Of course, if he's honestly reformed, supports his kids, and has been faithful since, I'd forgive, but I'm not sure how much of the GOP base would.
I think the fact that J.C. Watts fathered a child in high school isn't going to disqualify him. The child was raised by his family, they all pulled together to take care of this daughter. The only other child is his first child by his wife, who was born prior to their marriage. And to those conservatives who would dismiss him out of hand for this, I would also remind them that neither child was aborted, and that he and his family tried to do the right thing for both children. I think that deserves some consideration as well....
Why Watt when you got Condi!~}
J.C.'s allegedly had tax issues, been trailed by campaign financial questions. He has a stripper sister who did time for a "lewd" act while he was in Congress.
He has zero state-wide or executive political experience.
He's out of politics.
This is not a 2008 Presidential Candidate.
JC Watts is a good man, not sure about being ready for the Oval Office however. He would make an excellent cabinet officer. The same reason I cite (not being ready) about the presidency applies also to the VP slot - we cannot afford a VP that needs 'on the job training', not in this new era of potential terrorist assassinations of our elected officials.
You want a presidential candidate for '08?
I nominate retired General Tommy Franks!!!
He's a no-nonsense, no-BS Texan who will call the way it is, and let the damn chips fall where they may.
