Big Media Won't Touch Agenda 21

Big Media Won't Touch Agenda 21 Nancy Levant

I keep waiting, and waiting, and waiting for Bill O’Reilly or Shaun Hannity or Oprah Winfrey or somebody…..anybody, who has daily access to the multitudes, to say the words, “Agenda 21.” I’m still waiting, and for the life of me, I don’t understand the refusal to talk about the greatest threat to America that has ever existed. However, it dawns on me that wrapping a brain around Agenda 21 requires time, effort, interest, and a lot diligence. No one told me about Agenda 21. I found it by accident on the Internet. Then I went to the U.N.’s website and read Agenda 21. From there I went to Buenos Aires, The President’s Commission of Sustainable Development, my local sustainable development commissions and planners, to local visioning commissions, ecology conglomerates, and then back to the U.N.. After about six months of reading about a whole lot of global, national, and philanthropic organizations, I started documenting and keeping running lists because, I discovered, Agenda 21 was huge, highly developed, and a done deal. “How is it,” I asked myself, “that in 50 years, I never heard of any of this before? Where were my trusted newscasters? And why hasn’t my President, or the previous Presidents, ever talked about Agenda 21, the meetings in Buenos Aires, and Agenda 21’s connections to the World Trade Organization, World Bank, and a thousand other global organizations?”

So, I kept researching the Net. And lo and behold, I finally realized that Agenda 21 would never be publicized to Americans. It really can’t be.

As my running lists were now becoming encyclopedic, I also realized that there was no way to explain Agenda 21 easily. It’s too big, profoundly sophisticated, intentionally masked and hidden by corporate agendas and ecological ideologies that are, themselves, exploited by corporate agendas. But more than that, I realized that for Americans to understand Agenda 21, they would have to come to terms with a truth that, I fear, they won’t believe. What would that truth be? Let me try to say it in one sentence: Agenda 21 is the end of America.

As I read that sentence I think, “Well, Nancy, now everyone is going to think you are an extremist and no one will believe anything you say from now on. Everyone knows there can be no end to America….”

But unfortunately, my dear Americans, there can be an end to America, for America is a way of life. The place on Earth - where we are – the beautiful and bountiful lands between Canada and Mexico, might retain the name of “The United States of America,” but I’m not even sure that that is a given. If you believe even half of Agenda 21 and it’s dealings with the World Trade Organization, The World Bank, The President’s Commission on Sustainable Development, The Commission on Global Governance, The World Conference on Global Governance, The Millennium Project, The Court of Criminal Justice, The Nature Conservancy, The World Summit on Sustainable Development, Smart Growth, AND the “visioning” training and manipulation of American people, then you realize what has happened right under our noses over the past 35 years and without one national personality ever mentioning Agenda 21.

So, let me offer a list of website addresses to help readers research for themselves. I suggest you take notes and collect new website addresses. I believe that, as Americans, we owe it to our history and our sense of ourselves, to do the following:

· Read Agenda 21. If you read the other information via the web addresses in this article, you will wrap your brain around Agenda 21. It’s unbelievable and it’s dastardly, because not one politician or national media outlet has had the guts to tell us what was being taken from us.

· Pass your knowledge on to others. Don’t stew and be paralyzed. Take your knowledge to churches, civic organizations, and any other groups or individuals you can, and resolve yourselves to spread the news. Have an Anti-Agenda 21 Parade or Day to draw attention to the cause. Without fail, it’s the most important thing you will ever do in your lives as patriotic people. Write to your representatives and tell them you know what they have hidden, and that their manipulations of American citizens are shameful. Do it.

· Try so very hard to home school your children. Public schools are governmental institutions embroiled in Agenda 21 and its plans for the United States and our children. As you read and study Agenda 21, you will see it alive, well, and operating most obviously in the public schools. You will also see it clearly in the newest communities in all states across the country. Agenda 21 is everywhere, and it wants your children’s intellects and value systems as well as your land and land rights.

· Finally, teach your children about Agenda 21, what it is, and what it is doing to their country. Children have unique wisdoms at every age. Teach them truths so that they can faithfully and fearlessly speak truths. They must understand what is happening in their country. They cannot fight hidden and masked manipulations if they don’t understand how and where they operate.

Now is the time for Americans to help Americans. We cannot fight the loss of our rights unless we understand the game, and most Americans are totally unaware of what is happening to them and their communities. However, I do believe that the bulk of American people “sense” that something is amiss. Let’s commit to them, our children, and our futures. Let’s spread the news and make the media and politicians talk. They have counted on our stupidity, our silence, and our laziness. They have even counted on us not really caring.

We have to remember – it’s our government. It does not belong to politicians. They work for us. Unfortunately, they have not done that, and furthermore, they have advanced a worldwide mission without our knowledge, our votes, or even our opinions. So I say, one town at a time, here we come, and any elected official found to be complicit or a silent player in the Agenda 21 game needs to go.

The other thing it would give the UN is permanent funding.

No longer would they have to look to "donations" from member nations to carry out whatever the scam du jour might be.

They would be able to tax any and every activity in the salt waters of the world, from shipping, to cruising, to mineral, metal, and oil explorations...use your imagination as to what all they would control.

Anyone who would promote this lunacy should be denounced as a traitor to his country - whatever country it be.

If you can listen to internet radio, may I suggest rbnlive.com and gcnlive.com for information you will not hear on the MSM type stations.

Evening, cheers. Time to fire off the grill and burn something.

Action Alert: Law of the Sea Treaty

January 27, 2005

Now that the elections are over, the politicians and special interests in Washington will feel free to do what they want -- ignore public opinion -- unless we convince them otherwise.

Senator Richard Lugar, chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, wants the U.S. Senate to ratify the Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST) as soon as possible. Lobbyists representing multi-national corporations are busy convincing U.S. senators to vote in favor of LOST, and well-funded think tanks are holding briefings to marshal support for ratification.

Let's remember that over 20 years ago President Reagan opposed LOST. So what has changed since then? The treaty is the same. What has changed are the politicians who are now in power, and we must convince them to reject LOST.

Frank Gaffney writes, "It [LOST] was drafted more than 20 years ago at the behest of Soviet Bloc and 'nonaligned' nations as the centerpiece of their so-called 'New International Economic Order,' a scheme to transfer wealth from the industralized to the developing world.

"Ronald Reagan objected to LOST's creation of a supranational agency to govern the world's oceans at the expense of U.S. sovereignty...."

Last year, supporters of LOST tried to quietly get the treaty ratified. They were confident they could. But word got out and Americans throughout the country said "NO!" This sudden outburst of opposition caught the pro-LOST folks by surprise. They decided then, in that election year, to hold back and try again early this year.

And that is exactly what they are doing now...working to get LOST ratified once and for all.

We expect the Senate to vote on ratification of LOST within the next 60 days, maybe sooner. We must, once again, rally opposition and do so quickly.

Urge your two U.S. senators to vote against ratification of LOST. In addition, please spread the word. We will need all the help we can get this time around.

Background on LOST http://www.thelibertycommittee.org/lost.htm

Thank you for your help!

Kay Ludlow could you let Paul_Denton know how you helped control the open space project in your community? You sent me some great information.

Also, tell us a bit about TakeBackPennsylvania, if you don't mind. I think folks here might like to know about it.

I see from the keywords that some FReepers...have small brains and refuse to learn.

Thanks for the ping 'pod. I hope you and yours are well.

I checked out the keywords added by the booboise.

Unbelievable. This is happening right under our noses but if Faux News and Clinton News Network don't report on it must be conspiracy theory.

For all of those who discount this article and Agenda 21 here is a starting point for your education. Buy the books and read them:

"Our Global Neighborhood" (the Report of the UN Commission on Global Governance), Oxford University Press, ISBN 0-19-8277998-1.

"Sustainable America - a New Concensus" (the Report of the President's Council on Sustainable Development), U.S. Govt Printing Office, ISBN 0-16-048529-0.

Take Back Pennsylvania (TBPA) is a relatively new group modeled on Take Back Kentucky. TBKY has been very successful in rolling back a variety of state government excesses and protecting the individual rights (including property rights) of their citizens. TBPA is focusing on property rights and taxes right now, with 2nd amendment rights in mind also. http://www.takebackpennsylvania.com/ and http://www.takebackkentucky.com/ will give you an idea what they are about. It is hoped that as time goes by, enough of these state oriented groups (which are coalition groups themselves) form and join forces to be able to impact issues at the national level.

As far as our efforts in our own community, part of our county has had a regional coalition of governments for about 30 years. While that has helped to maintain adequate policing and such, it's also been a hotbed of activist planning. Among the many projects over the last few years was the Greenways Plan. This was actually funded at the county level with about $250,000 of state and federal grant money (your tax dollars at work). They paid a consultant to form a Greenways Committee to develop a Greenways Plan (PA is requiring all counties to have one). Unfortunately for them, they put a public trail on their map through my mountain land, right where I plan to build my house. That was a bad thing to do!

While we had always been moderately active in going to public meetings and speaking out against the more controlling things, this got us in high gear. We went to the greenway committee meetings and asked when they planned to inform the property owners of the planned public trails on their land (we stumbled across the map on public access tv); we read the written plan and voiced our objections to the language. They said they had a committee of stakeholders, but none were property owners in areas where the planned greenways were. Many were already associated with local government; others represented local environmental and recreational groups (the kayakers were very interested in getting public access to all the creek banks)and many more were with the consultants. Out of the 40-50 people who attended these meetings over time, only 5-10 were not in one of the above mentioned groups - mostly they were real property owners who would be impacted.

We were told repeatedly not to be concerned, as it was just a plan. Yet, in the written details, the consultants had included use of eminent domain in the end to connect the pieces of the greenways together. We took action by posting information on our local website, on public bulletin boards, contacting other mountaintop property owners who would be effected, calling local radio shows, calling and writing the County Commissioners. We also helped other people write letters to the county - many people are willing to send letters, but are not confident in their letter writing skills ;-)

The result of our efforts were that while a greenways plan was accepted by the county government, the teeth were out of it. The trail on the mountaintop (which was 100% across private property, even the the mountaintops on the other side of the valley were already public and had no trail on them) was removed, the most offensive language was taken out of the plan, and a section was added stating that eminent domain would never be used to implement it.

Because of the way PA structures government at the local level, the county would approve the plan and guide the municipalities but the municipalities would have to actually implement it. Even with the few people we had involved in actively opposing it, the calls, letters and hubbub apparently put the fear of god in the elected officials. The municipalities not only haven't acted on the greenways plan, when the eco-activists suggest that something be implemented, the local officials say they don't even want to talk about greenways - they don't want to get that hornets nest stirred up again.

What we found is that local government is so accustomed to doing what they want with little input from average citizens, that it only takes a few citizens being outspoken and adamant to scare them off. We were polite, but insisted that private property should not be taken, or even planned, to be used for public use (or environmental use, as some of the greenways were for environmental corridors) without the consent of the property owners, and that the property owners should be notified of the planning process! They really didn't want people to know till it was all said and done, but we took care of that ;-) Another important thing to be aware of is what some of these things really are. "Visioning" projects are about taking the ideas of the small number of people (usually activists) and making them into 5, 10 and 20 year plans. Wasn't that the Soviet way? Committees making long term plans for everyone? Also, watershed planning is specifically intended to transcend the bounds of local government using something most people care about (clean safe water) to set up a group that has higher authority than the uncooperative local governments to plan our communities so the water is protected. Insidious, eh?
