I think the entire show is a staged farce. I've watched it twice and both times the respectable family was portrayed as narrow-minded and shallow.

If you you want to watch a REAL LIFE freak-show, then watch 3-foot tall rapper 'Flava-Flav' paired up with Stallone's amazon ex, Bridgitte Nielsen on one of the cable channels.
