I LOVE Nigella!!!!!!

I watched her 'low calorie' cooking episode...and just as the credits are rolling, down meanders Nigella wearing just a robe, and opening the fridge says to the camera....'if you are still hungry there are left overs'. Then she reached into the fridge, and pulled out a Mars Bar, and then tottered up the stairs!

What a girls, girl! *LOL*

Isn't Jessica Simpson the one who didn't know "Chicken of the Sea" is tuna?

I watched part of that show. I dub it the Wife Swap Licket-D-Split show.

As I have posted here before, I had a friend in high school who's dad was "confused" and who's sister was a lesbian. I met many queer men and lesbos and spent a lot of time as a teenager in the Houston montrose area.

I found homesexuals, gays, fags, queers, dikes, homos or whatever you want to call them to be a pretty sad lot. I felt more sorry for them than anything else.

Many of the queers I met were such happy guys. At least that's how they acted. But almost all of them were self-destructive and self-loathing once you got to know them a bit. And the drama, gads! Really bad when some of them got drunk. Keep in mind that I was 16-20 when I was watching these folks.

My friends lesbian sister was a piece of work. She was real butchy but if pressed about her sexual "whatever" she had the same reaction the woman on the show tonight had. Tears and drama. Which she used to try to turn the tables on you and change the subject. But she was handy since she had a great collection of Playboy magazines. Hey, I was the all-American boy!

Queer men were somewhat the same when you bring up the basics of what they do together. I'd say to a group of them something like "but hey, you stick your "?" up his "?" and that ain't what those things were designed for". That always got them and they would never discuss that. They HAD to change the discussion from the physical to the emotional. And would sit there forever trying to make me believe (remember, I'm 16 back then) that their "love" was like my "love". I remember one had a fit when I told him what he did was not love or sex for that matter.

I tell you one thing I don't care much for, and that's the men lip kissing on MTV sometimes when I flip past that channel. I saw that the other night on "The Real World". What garbage. Give me a break. Maybe, maybe, 3% of the planet is gay, queer or whatever. But darn we waste a lot of time talking about it. Mainly because they won't shut up about it. Which I need to do right now I guess.

I can never watch those shows...they always tick me off.. either the mom lets the kids run wild or the dad's a non-involved parent who doesn't have the cojones to stand up to his wife and kids...

The only redeeming part of this episode was watching...

I caught part of the promo. I couldn't bring myself to watch. I'm even getting a bit tired of "Lost".

The only redeeming part of this episode was watching the conservobabe mom zot the two lesbians on tv.

I'll lay odds that she's a closet FReeper...we just have to figure out her screen name.... [g]

She's one of the few things I miss about cable as compared to satellite...

I have hear of her restaurant. I went to her bio page. I get the impression she didn't go to culinary school and began her career selling things she made and later opened the restaurant. Is that right? I was impressed.

If I get down there, I will definitly find her place.

We started watching Trading Spouses when it first came on, and now, I'm a little embarrassed to admit, but we're hooked. What comes through the most is that however a family is living is "normal" to them. I've avoided Wife Swap because in the few promos I've seen, it's much more confrontational that Trading Spouses. To the credit of Trading Spouses, the wife that often comes across as the weirdest is the most liberal of the two, i.e. the vegan from California and that clean-freak Mia.

Yep. That's exactly right.

Oh there's no doubt about it, Nigella is a foxy lady.

Even I, as a woman, can see her sex appeal.

She's the cross between Audrey Hepburn (facially) and Gina Lolabrigida (sp?) physically of the cooking world.

I wish I could be 'fat' like Nigella. She has it going on! (and in ALL the right places!). And she can cook! What man could resist?

Lost is getting too confusing for me to watch. It needs some direction. Too many subplots.

The other thing half-way reasonable thing about Trading Spouses is that at least you get "paid" for going on...
