Wolfgang Puck is annoying. Why do I find him annoying? Frigging Austrian pronounciations and screwed up American dialect. And his always positive attitude, even though he completely screwed the pooch on the dish he was trying to make... "It's ok.. we'll till dem it vas shrimps..."
I don't dislike the guy, and wouldn't go out of my way to injure him in an empty alleyway. Or protect him, eider.
Either.
I lie. I'd at least knee-cap him. Figuratively.... not literally.

Round and curvy is good. And all that pouting and panting and cooking . . . .
Indeed. Dreamy.

"I'll wait for the book to come out.
Then ignore that."
Great line. I've gotta use it sometime, with variations, like "I'll wait for the video, then ignore it...." etc.

I'm kind of tired of 'Lost', too. It's moving far too slowly with too many mysteries that aren't being explained. We just started watching 24 this season, and that has us captivated not only for it's suspense but because it's so fast-moving. Before Tivo, we hardly ever watched TV. LOL

I'm single. I can say that.

Just my humble opinion... BUT ANYONE who sells out their dignity to appear on a show like that has a screw loose somewhere. No amount of money would make me appear on a show like that. And I mean it. NO AMOUNT of money. They say everyone has a price. But my self-respect and dignity couldn't be bought by the combined fortunes of Bill Gates and the collective Saudi princes.
Good for you! I feel the same way. How can they ever respect each other again! Money isn't everything. My personal feelings of self respect and respect for my husband are far more important.

So I didn't sound like a dope, I googled Project 21. :) Did they ask several families? I don't want to judge this family harshly (I didn't see the episode tonight). I just know what these producers do with the editing and can't believe they didn't realize they'd be set up. My guess is they didn't know who they were swapping with?
To: valleygal
They contacted the organization, who in turn passed the contact along to several families (including mine). After I called David back -- laughing maniacally -- he said that he thought it was funny as well and worth the laugh.
Apparently they were gung ho to get a black conservative family one way or another...

I'm pretty sure it was her. According to one of my kids, the show was called "Newlyweds".
She was talking to her husband and eating tuna out of a can but didn't realize it was tuna and kept asking if it was chicken. I thought she was joking...then I realized she wasn't.

I don't get HGTV on my cable. :( There is a show I want to watch but can't get.

Well a woman who has to concentrate so much on smiling...
...can't be thinking about what she actually puts behind her porcelain veneers, now can she?

I was thinking that very same thing before. Would 'She Who Must Be Obeyed' have the same reactions?
