My Mom lives in Florida in an assisted living facility. She had cancer 12 years ago but is cancer free and has been since her surgery. A few months ago, maybe 3, a hospice contacted my sister and said since Mom has lung cancer, did my sister want to make hospice arrangements now?

My sister said she doesn't have cancer she has mild emphysema. The hospice nurse said it's in her chart. My sister called my Moms cancer doctor, nope, no cancer. She tried to track down what was going on but the hospice never replied to her or contacted her again. What in the h#@* is going on in Florida?!
