He is an @ss.
Why he is still around just re-affirms the good old boy status.
The good old boy status need to be excised........
I will never see it in my liftime.

Spector is more worried about the phony sensibilities of the Liberals and other poseurs in the Senate than the clear intent of the Constitution.
This man is a complete embarrasment to good governent. The GOP was stupid to allow him to become head of the Judiciary Committee. It will reap what it has sown!

Specter...a perfect name for a guy who turns into a ghost whenever he's actually supposed to be a Republican.

So let's have a little turmoil. In fact, let's impeach half the federal bench - the communist half who just make things up and tell outrageous lies and spin transparent sophistries, and expect the rest of us to bow and scrape before their precious silly black sheets and pretend their whims are laws.
Want turmoil? Leave these lawless freaks on the bench another decade. Nobody will take the word of any judge as anything but idiotic blather. Men will make their own laws and enforce them themselves.

What a jackass. The turmoil is created by the obstructionists. Or, is he thinking about Scottish law? Or the magic bullet?

The Senate hasn't a clue as to what real turmoil is.

This is The Specter's way of undermining the President's nominees while making it look like he's keeping his promise to advance them so he has plausible deniability.
Some of us here predicted that The Specter wouldn't keep his word, but we were hooted at. After all, Arlen's a Republican.
Had more conservative Pennsylvanians supported Jim Clymer, we'd hae someone else running Judiciary and a much better chance of getting the nominees through witout disruption from the Chairman.

...These gutless wonders should never have made Scotty McSpecter the chairman in the first place. Back it up a step or two, please. Gutless Santorum and gutless Bush both backed this POS over a real conservative. Even if Toomey had lost (doubtful) Jon Kyl would be chairing this committee. But both of them chose party over principle and this is what we get.
I warned of this over a year ago here and was told that the pubbies would keep Specter in line and that Specter was neutered and that it was important that Specter win to maintain a GOP majority.
Well we got what Bush and Santorum and the other gutless wonders here asked for and now we're all paying for it.

The Republican senators continue to operate under the delusion that the RAT members are honorable. The Rats have no honor. They do not worry about what is best for their state or the country only what is best for them.
Time for a little canning in the US Senate.

Right on! The Dimbulbs have the media to protect them so they know there won't be a backlash. Hopefully people will see this more and more as in 04.

...Gutless Santorum and gutless Bush both backed this POS over a real conservative...Yep. Specter NARROWLY defeated Toomey in the primary. We have them both to thank.

A swing of about 8500 votes and we wouldn't have to be talking about the former senior senator from PA and messing with this.
