Is it time for a March on the SCOTUS and the Judiciary and the Senate?

Is it time for a March on the SCOTUS and the Judiciary and the Senate?

Are you as fed up as I am over the bad decisions being handed down by the SCOTUS and throughout the judiciary? Are you tired of judicial activism? Are you tired of being ruled by the men in black robes? Is it time to remind the SCOTUS that We The People ARE the final arbiters of law and justice in this land?

Are you fed up with the weak-kneed Republican Senate? Are you ready to drop the nuclear option on the obstructionist Democrats? Are you fed up with Specter and the RINOs?

Is it time for us to rise up and march on Washington again? How many of you are willing to join me in another march to D.C. to straighten out these yahoos and remind them of who's in charge in this republic?

If they can do it in Lebanon, we can do it here!!

Damn it Jim.

Hanging in effigy is sorta archaic but I like it. I have a mind to return to Washington. Let's go.

What makes you think these judges appointed for life would care?

Marching on the SCOTUS won't accomplish anything. They have lifetime tenure and couldn't care less what the people think of them.

The Senators on the other hand still have to answer to the people to some degree. They're the ones we really have to lean on. We need to let them know that if Bush's nominees don't get voted they'll get booted out of office just like Tom Daschle was. And I'm talking about both Democrats and fake Rerpublicans like Arlen Specter and his ilk.

A bill should be introduced in Congress to stop funding the Supreme Court.

Spring is just around the corner.

I say Senate first, the judiciary will only pay attention to us if it comes via action of our representatives.

I am certainly ready to join in.

I'm glad that Levin is being proactive in pointing out this responsibility of the congress. I can't wait to read his book. This is the first step that should be taken. I guess the big fear of the weak-kneed wing of the Republican party is that this course of action might provoke a constitutional crisis. Maybe that's exactly what is needed.

Good point! They pay more attention to INTERNATIONAL LAW than they do to the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA - which they are supposed to INTERPRET - NOT REWRITE.

I think that three of the nine Nazgul are not Nazgul, though one is very ill.

Scalia, Thomas, and Renquist; I do not see as "Nazgul"

My wife will think I'm crazy, but I'll try to be there. A day (Tuesdays?) when the SC releases its weekly rulings would be good.

"The problem is, SCOTUS is basically immune to public opinion."

But, unfortunately, according to Justice Kennedy, not to international opinion.

I believe when they rule out the Ten Commandments will be the time to march.

I will go.

We need to march to remind the WIMP Republicans in the US Senate whom we elected through our work and money that they need to get off of their fat behinds and do what we elected them to do. Quit kowtowing to the left-wing fascist democrats and get on with the people's business. Get us some judges that support the Constitution and do their duties under the Constitution to limit the power of the court.
