I agree. I think this a very bad bill and the GOP will pay for it if they keep pressing this.
Anyone with half a brain can see this for what it is--a brazen, $40 billion giveaway to the Republicans' biggest campaign contributors.
Disgusting.
Thats the same thing I am thinking. This is payback to big campaign contributors, just like the bad immigration policy the Bush administration is pushing.
I've been a lot more than "kind of" disappointed in both of those RINO cows for years.
What the Sam Hill is wrong with ME anyway? It used to be a conservative state, and now it keeps re-electing those two bozo women who almost invariably allow the Senate Dems to snatch a victory away from the Repubs on close votes.
It's this kind of corrupt, money-ladling b*llshit that led voters to kick the Democrats out of power.
Now, the Republicans are starting down the same path. There will be a price to pay.

my senator...lol?...unfortunately is Chuckie Cheese
WV is liberal on economic issues, conservative on social issues. Geriatric Klansman Byrd has played WV voters like a $10 fiddle for so many many years he can still do it even in his post-senile period.
I thought Specter was a "no show."
Is this the correct link?
http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=109&session=1&vote=00026
Looks like the link you provided is for another bill:
http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=109&session=1&vote=00026
If you or anyone can find the correct link, please provide.
Thanx
Y'all can feel sorry for me, too, as I'm from NYS.
If things aren't bad enough, Eliot Spitzer is a favorite, in this point in time, to become NYS governor.
If Spitzer gave $1,000 to California's ESC/Cloning bill, what is he going to do to NYS.
Spitzer is pro-gay marriage, and is anti-business. He goes after corruption, whether real or perceived in businesses, but ignores corruption in the PUBLIC sector, so they say..............
Thanx, very much.

What does grouped by vote position mean?
If guess I'm politically unsophisticated.
Thanx
Looks like it means by home state.
Didn't clinton start out the same way in AK?
Group by vote position.....
Yea
Nay
"Didn't clinton start out the same way in AK?"
Do you mean as senator? I don't know.
One thing that makes me nervous is that Bill Clinton won because of a third party, and I'd hate to see another Clinton win because of a third party.
The Republicans better concentrate on energizing their base, or there just might be a strong third party that takes votes away from the Republican candidate.
