This is check-pants Republican crap, its stupid, and its self serving.
The Senate Republicans are confirming everyone's worst suspicions and stereotypes about the party: that it is out of touch with ordinary people, that it serves business interests before human interests, etc.

Quite frankly, this is a bill that does not help the American people. It is contrary to the interests of the American people. I hate to say it as well, the GOP deserves to lose elections over their latest actions.
Bingo. And I hope that the GOP leadership is paying attention to this board. You and I are not the only conservatives who are saying this.
I know we are not. There are some less informed people on this forum uncrtitically repeating the party line. However, there are tons of conservatives who see right through the bullcrap for what this awful bill is.
A good rule of thumb: If filibustering end-justifies-the-means Schumer sponsors an amendment, and 96% of the Dems vote for it, and it's against freedom of speech for pro-lifers, it's a bad amendment.
Liberals think that free speech is only for them, even if they want to yell fire in a crowded theater when there's no fire.
This amendment singled out pro-lifers, that's the problem.
We are not talking about the poison pill amendment, we are talking about the bill.
It means if they voted Nay they were listed under Nay, and if they voted Yea, they were listed under Yea.
