Doug Thompson, on his website, Capitol Hill Blue, has produced an essay named “American Hitler”.

In it, Thompson writes, “A cancer infects this country, spreading like wildfire, devouring the flesh of our society and threatening to turn what was once the greatest nation on Earth into a rotting corpse of political corruption, greed and abuse of power. This cancer has a name: George W. Bush.”

Thompson continues with, “Yeah, yeah. Call me a Bush-basher if you want. I don’t give a damn. If you still support this madman check yourself into the nearest psychiatric hospital for shock therapy. Somebody has to stand up against this American Hitler, this destroyer of freedom, this Devil with a drawl.”

"I’ve watched a lot of dangerous men pass through the portals of politics in my lifetime. But none, repeat none, compare to the fear mongering, hatred, homophobia and anti-American actions of Dubya and his klavern of fanatics who are hell-bent to destroy the Constitution, personal freedoms, civil liberties and just about anything else that provide the foundation of this place called America."

His conclusion, "No President has done more to destroy freedom in America."

True to his column heading, "The Rant", Thompson continues his rant with, "They’ve lied to the American people, cheated on the principles established by our forefathers and brought disgrace to this nation on the world stage. International respect for America is at all all-time low, thanks to an Iraq war based on lies and arrogance without limits."

"Like Hitler, Bush may well go down in history as a mass-murderer. Nobody knows for sure how many innocent Iraqis have died at American hands because the Pentagon hides those figures but the number grows every day. Hell, an Italian hostage negotiator can’t even try to bring back someone from their country without getting gunned down by American troops in Iraq."

Thompson concludes with, "Thanks to George W. Bush and those who follow him, America is no longer the home of the brave or the land of the free. That America is gone. Maybe, just maybe, it can be reclaimed when the goons, crooks, thieves and traitors who control our country are driven from office. Or maybe it’s too late. Maybe we’ve sat on our collective asses too long while traitors took over our country. Maybe we've been silent too long while American citizens with Arabic last names are rounded up like cattle and sent to concentration camps at Guantanimo Bay."

I think these liberals have a rant generator. It contains all the angry hyper-words of the left. In writing this piece, Thompson hit the "Select All" button and I've edited the piece down. There's more hyper-language and invective in the complete article.

Usually, I have a lot to say about these whackjobs, but Thompson's piece speaks volumes for itself and about the author.

I have never seen so many emotional, negative, stereotypic, prejudicial and hostile adjectives in one place in my life. And what thought do all of these hyper-words convey? None, the author clearly has a thing against the president, but other than calling him and those around him, names and falsely charging them with crimes, this piece doesn't say anything. It doesn't convey a message. It simply says, "I hate this guy". It's the kind of writing and quality of writing that is normally found above the urinal in the men's room.

Can you just imagine Thompson, who clearly has a Kenny Rogers fixation, after a couple of cocktails? He'd drive you crazy with this hyperventilating crap. I just wonder, do you think this guy ever has a rational moment?

Isn't it amazing how liberals all of sudden have found religion when it comes to honesty and truth telling? When their boy Bill "Fellation" Clinton was in office, he and his goons lied to the public and the press daily to protect his sorry ass and all that the liberals would do is make excuses about how it was OK to lie. Even after Clinton was found to have lied under oath to a grand jury they still defended it as being OK to do since afterall.....it was only about SEX. Bush has not lied about anything and they know it. They just hate Bush more than they hate Saddam Husein or Osama Bin Laden. Their hate will eventually consume them.

With all of the reforms happening in the Middle East, and many of the President's former detractors admiting that he may have something going for him, the die hards are going to start lashing out at anything and everything they can find to lash out agianst.
