Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.
It's 3:30 am again. I need to pass out. Uh, sleep. :)
I'd like to stay up but I need to get to bed.
I have a feeling the decision will come down in the middle of the night while we're all asleep.

I moved out after over 30 years a few months ago .. hurricanes last season drove me over the edge. Otherwise, it was fine to live out in the peaceful country.
I keep hoping for news too...hard to sleep, hard to do anything but pray.

I just keep hoping the fact that it's taking so long is a good thing. But as LegalEagle said, you can't always read judges.

It's the same disingenuous argument Senator King gave the other day. These guys bloviate about how wonderful it is and how happy we should be for Terri 'going home', yet they do everything they can not to go themselves.
Half of those Florida senators where at once calling for Terri's death while whining that they felt their lives were in danger.
I cannot imagine calling out Jesus' name saying, "Lord, watch this!... I want an innocent disabled woman to starve to death! Watch as I vote no!"
