"I have had enough of this. And you are you to call them evil. That man spent countless hours with her. countless, even her parent admitted this in testamony its these little facts that you people over look. Well, thats it for me. I'll just lurk awhile."

You are a hoot!!!

And who am I to call him evil? It's OBVIOUS!

Yes, yes, he spent countless hours trying to determine how to murder her, medically or otherwise. Yes, I really believe a man who won't divorce his wife. Prefers to cheat on her and start a family and denies his wife therapy when the malpractice money rolls in. Yeah, I really find this evil scumbag credible. Truly, you can't be that STUPID.

You are making many allegations about Michael Schiavo. And no, I an not defending him. The man has been convicted of no crime that I am aware of in connection with Terri.

As per contributions to a legal fund, we still, until you Brownshirts take over, are allowed to give our money to whomever we please.

I agree. Michael's children did not get to choose their parents. No one would ever blame the children of individuals who would say, rob a bank. Children are not responsible for what their parents do, they are just along for the ride. The statement in the Bible that the sins of the Father pass on to the children simply means children unfortunately pay for their parents sins because they have to suffer the consequences. It doesn't mean their guilty.

Good Lord! FR has crossed into DU territory on this topic!

Perhaps it's not all rhetoric. Perhaps the death doctors really are gaining power.

The truth is that George Bush has allowed a state court judge to outright flout the congress by ignoring a federal subpoena. Jeb has allowed a corrupt local police department to face off state troopers and a state agency. Whatever else they may have done that is good, this is not a particularly proud moment for the Bush brothers. Spend a few moments on Freerepublic and you'll see that opinion confirmed.

First off the federal subpoena was 100% hogwash! - The federal Gov't has no business subpoenaing people simply for the reason to subpoenaing them! (that is a terribly dangerous road to go down!). (and the bottom line is Congress itself admits the said "subpoena" was nothing but a gimmick to begin with! (which is terrible to try and set a precedent like that while simply using it as a gimmick to being with!).

Lastly, GWB and Jeb have done all they can which is under the law! - Both are good and decent men who by all accounts have done more of Terri than her OWN family has! -

Congress using article three of the constitution to broaden the federal courts role was fine and legal (however, the gimmick subpoena was not!).

The real solution here is to make sure one has a living will and to unelect bad judges. The answer is NOT to try and throw blame at either GWB or Jeb (that is simply childish).

I lurked on this site for a number of month before becoming a member in 99 and trust me there has been a sea change in the level of irrational, emotional outburst over the last 3-4 years.

I am not arguing with you.

We have a progression of law that is difficult for the lay-person to follow (and no I am not a lawyer.)

I don't wish to see a wholesale fallout of our laws due to emotion. I can understand how the persons involved feel. However, I don't want to see the person(s) determined by the masses classified as evil grifters less any actual evidence sans hearsay.

As per tyranny, what many on here are advocating is anarchy. Anarchy, is in itself the road to tyranny.

Life is not and will never be perfect. Taking a Jackboot to what you do not like isn't going to fix things in the long run.
We have a separation of powers for this very reason.

So, the "family" has no agenda? The "family" is not making allegations?

Post the police reports so we can all learn where Michael tried to murder his wife.

Again, the parents have no legal standing.

Facts are good. Facts are your friends.

But she can swallow! She has, in fact. It would take a long time, and Michael refused to allow it, but she can. Why else would they not want anyone giving her water???

One of her nurses in a sworn affidavit stated she did swallow and did not aspirate! Therefore it most certainly does apply.

Wrong again. Sworn Court records show $300,000 to MS, of which the Shindler family wanted a cut, and $700,000 for care. That was in 1993 based on what I know about healthcare that $700,000 is probably mostly gone by now. That was also 7 years before MS went to court to get the tubes removed. I know facts are not really important when damning MS, but he had the money for 7 years before deciding to ask to have the feeding tubes removed. He did not immediately request the change after receiving the cash like is so often stated on this site.

I know it is not required on TS threads, but please try to get your facts straight before posting.
