Personally, I am not as concerend with Congress as I am the players in Florida. I do not want MS, Greer and Felos to get away with this. I want Woodside Hospice investigated for criminal wrongdoing.

I want to know how many were admitted with discontinued feeding tubes and I want to know how many tubes were discontinued inhouse.

I want an audit of pharmacy records including morphine dosages.

I want to know the rate of deaths compared with the depletion of insurance benefits.

I want to know how and why felos was able to get away with being director of the hospice while actively litagating the death of one of the patients at Woodside. I want to know how many others he has helped "release."

I want to know all I can about Judge Greer--he is knee deep in shit with this and I want to to criminally pay for his complicity. I want to see him disbarred for his obvious bias against Terri.

I want Michael Shiavo to know what it was like for Terri. I do not wish him harm, but I hope one day he will be in Terri's place and he will know, just as Terry knew. And if there is any, any evidence he was reponsible for what happened with Terri, I want him charged with murder.

Just like everything else, Congress talks a big game. At most they will spank a few judical hinnies and then make nice, but that is it.

I want someone to go after the criminals in this case before it happens again. And it will happen again. The world just witnessed a murder by proxy and the pisser is the ones who fought to save the life of a woman are the ones who are reviled the most.

Can you imagine being called selfish because you are trying to save the life of your child? Where would anyone draw the line and "I give up! She can die now!" I can't think of a stopping point.

****If DeLay pulls this, it'll be political suicide for Republicans. Best to let it be handled by the people of the Great State of Florida. You've got more *important* issues on your docket Tom. Get off your lazy ass and get to work!

No, everyone will get up and cheer. The judiciary has become to big for their britches. They no longer think they are equal. They think they are superior to the other branches.

Wrong...this is the most important issue facing our country today. Even more than terrorism. If the judicial branch can continue to get away and not bide by the constitution then we are doomed.

And the State of Florida (which isn't so great - it's a festering cesspool of incompetence) has no jurisdiction over the likes of Judge Greer who defied Congress, that has the right of perview, over a de novo order.

It's that simple.

Start with Greer and work up the chain.

Yes I know Greer is not a federal judge, but he CAN be impeached in the Florida legislature.

In all the other Cases before mentioned, the supreme Court shall have appellate Jurisdiction, both as to Law and Fact, with such Exceptions, and under such Regulations as the Congress shall make.

The Supreme Court was not mentioned in the Schiavo Law.

****The judge held the held the hearing, the Schindler attorneys present no new evidence, no reason for overturning the original decision. So the judge ruled against them. He abided by the letter of the legislation.

Do you even know what de novo means? Evidently not from the above post. It doesn't mean "present new evidence."

Did Tom Delay beat the crap out of his father putting him in the hospital until he died. Did he refuse him exercise or anything that would help him? Did he lie his ass off for 15 years? If he did Tom is a criminal too. But I doubt it.
The two cases are "not" similar.

I never said it was, although I suspect that if bills of attainder were not prohibited, there would have been one in this case. I included Madison's comments on legislative interferences in judicial affairs because the Congress's intent was to use legislation to affect the outcome of a specific court decision. That's a bad law, per the wise words of one of the most pre-eminent of the Founding Fathers.

The best thing would be to pass some well-pointed legislation. For example, a law that takes away spousal rights to life-and-death choices when one is living in a Persistant Bigamous State.

It makes me crazy that this wasn't passed before Terri died.

Just how is DeLay making a "fool of himself?"

Are you one of the same people who was screaming about the President & Governor Bush not stepping in? Hope not.

Is this a Judge that could be Bribed?

It seems like there aren't too many judges today that can't be bribed.
