Columba and I offer our condolences to Mr. and Mrs. Schindler, Bobby Schindler, Suzanne Vitadamo and to all those who offered their prayers and support to Terri’s family over these past weeks, months and years. These prayers were not in vain.
“Many across our state and around the world are deeply grieved by the way Terri died. I feel that grief very sharply as well. I remain convinced, however, that Terri’s death is a window through which we can see the many issues left unresolved in our families and in our society. For that, we can be thankful for all that the life of Terri Schiavo has taught us.
“I still firmly believe that human life is a gift and a mystery, and that its mystery is most evident at its beginning and ending. May all of us whose hearts were moved during the life of Terri Schiavo grow in wisdom at its ending.”

If the autopsy shows a fractured hyoid bone then MS will be in the hot seat. The implication is Terri suffered asphyxia at the hands of MS
What gets me is that MS took Terri to California for some kind of "brain implant" and they didn't do a full set of head x-rays?
His team had to have been looking at the statute for a while. He should've acted on the statute cited by his attorney in that press conference the minute his brother signed the article three legislation. Jeb not only failed Terri, he failed the executive branch and damaged it in his inaction.
We are the frogs and I'm ashamed.
It seems we're only interested in "if you don't agree with the law, change it" when it's the opposition doing the violating. If we allow our emotions to override the rule of law, we're no better than they are, and I find that sickening. The very ones who want conservative judges who will uphold the constitution appear to be the ones who wanted the administration and the judges to violate the law in this mess.
I don't like that Terri Shiavo had to die. I am of the opinion that Michael Schiavo, at a minimum, contributed to her initial condition which put her in the state she was in. I think it's a shame that there appears to be no way to go after him.
I think the reason the Dems are so successful is that they don't eat their own like the conservatives do.
When did I say any of that? I said many state laws began after those. I'm well aware of the decisions and their repercussions. And why is a respirator more of an artifical life support than say a feeding tube?
I read all of the relevant portions of the Florida Constitution last weekend, I am absolutely convinced that he had all the authority he needed to save her life.

I know many people want to blame you and your brother. However, I want to thank both of you for doing what you could to save Terri Shaivo.
I agree with Rush Limbaugh on this. It is the culture of death that is to blame. You and your brother do not belong to that culture. You can count on my support in 2008, should you decide to run.

Jeb Bush didn't "follow the law," he allowed a judge to diminish his constitutional authority as governor.

If you have watched someone die of cancer, you have seen this happen, even if they did not have a feeding tube. All you can do is stand helplessly beside them and try to put ice into their mouths.
