Family Feud Still Boils After Schiavo's Death

Husband's brother says he'll never forgive Schindlers

(CNN) -- Terri Schiavo's death Thursday did nothing to lessen the bitter feud between the Schiavos and the Schindlers -- with both sides continuing their war of words even as they mourned.

Her death came less than 12 hours after the U.S. Supreme Court rejected her parents' last appeal and nearly two weeks after doctors, acting on an order issued by a state circuit court judge, removed her life-sustaining feeding tube. (Full story)

She was 41 and had been incapacitated since 1990, when she suffered a heart attack that caused permanent brain damage.

None of Schiavo's blood relatives were in the Woodside Hospice room in Pinellas Park, Florida, when she died Thursday morning, a sore point among the Schindler family. (Bedside scene)

And a brother of Michael Schiavo vowed Thursday night that he will never forgive her biological family for portraying his brother as a "murderer."

Brian Schiavo berated the Schindler family, their lead lawyer and a Catholic priest who is their friend.

"Why was only one man, Judge Greer, the determinant of the facts in Terri's case?"

No. That is why the Schiavo's have the ability to appeal, which they did. During the appeal, the other 19 judges (I may be wrong on this number)look at the case and determine whether the judge had followed the law. They determined, in this case, that he had. Whether his decision was moral or favorable with conservatives or Christians etc., does not usually play into judicial decisions.

Note: The above post is to be viewed as informative and is not an attempt to express opinion or make a case for either the Schindlers or Schiavo's.

Re 19:11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself.
13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.
15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, "Come and gather together for the supper of the great God,
18 "that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great."
19 And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.
20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.
(NKJV)

And it comes as a shock to them that some lunatic is making death threats.

Boy if I was in their positon I would lay low for a very long time.

I really think they are trailer trash and enjoying the limelight-- It does not occur to them, people think of them as evil. They don't have a clue

The man is a murderer pure and simple. God will take care of the problem in his own time. Michael can't run and he can't hide!

Neither can Greer or Felos.

Funny, usually murdering a family member ends most family feuds.

Yeah, and Felos was in the room when Terri died, too. Unbelievable. Sure wouldn't want him around at my deathbed.

I read somwhere that the average US murderer is sentenced to 20 years to life, but is out on parole in 8-10 years.

In the climet of our socitey to day, it is easy for me to see where our nation is going. When the morals of any society are lost so will that society be lost.

IT WILL BE A TIME SUCH HAS NEVER BEEN BEFORE.
I see we are getting close to that time, that is if you be leave the HOLY BIBLE.

The substance of your answer seems to confirm that only one judge determined the facts.

When man' law attempts to trump God's
man's law is not to be obeyed.

During the appeal, the other 19 judges (I may be wrong on this number)look at the case and determine whether the judge had followed the law.

You are either trying to be clever or disingenuous. The poster you responded to clearly said the facts in this case. Not a single other judge ever examined the facts... not one! The facts of the case and the law in the case are two very different things. The law may state that a judge has the authority to decide the facts (and therefore have been followed) without the actual facts determined being correct (which is pretty much what happened here). Once T.S. was declared PVS by Greer, and once he ruled that her wish was that she not be sustained by extraordinary measures, not a single other judge examined the accuracy of those "facts." They were simply accepted by all of the appeals courts.

So your post does not address the original post's complaint at all. The appeals court judges looked to see if the law had been followed, not if the facts were accurate...

Oh real mature Brian, lowering yourself to the level of a common thug by berating people who have only told the truth. In the court of public opinion, this Schiavo family is scum and I think that is what bothers them the most. They will all be branded as such to the day they leave this earth!

I agree, and if Kevorkian is in jail, Schiavo must go to jail too.

My tendency is to boycott any publishing company that publishes a book by Michael Schiavo or George Felos, and any broadcasting company that makes a made-for-TV-movie that benefits these bastards.

As I read each post I become angrier and angrier! Tell me why Terri, who they say was PVS, and couldn't feel, hear, touch, smell, talk, etc...They why would it have upset her for a policeman to be in her room?...I thought they said she wouldn't know anything!! And why give her a stuffed animal, flowers, and music if she couldn't feel, smell or hear? DANG IT!!

The Schiavo's are trash...I've tried very hard to watch with an open mind but they are mean and hateful. I'm sure her parents didn't ask for 1/2 of the $$ and even if they did it was because they saw Michael blow through the $$ and not give Terri proper medical care...

And as far as Michaels brothers go...tell me why Terri would want them in the room at her final moments. My brother in laws would not be my first choice. It's all about Michael and what he wants...And the stinkin lawyer UNfelos is bizarre and akin to Satan. ANybody who walks in a room and thinks the patient is asking him to help them die belongs right up there in the same prison cell with Kevorkian!!
