Skip to comments.(Vanity) Send Your Words of Support to the Volunteers of the Minuteman Project
Posted on 04/11/2005 10:44:14 AM PDT by Spiff
I was going through a number of threads related to the Minuteman Project to gather the many warm wishes and words of support that so many FReepers have expressed. I want to print them out and take them down to the Minuteman Project HQ and post them for all of the volunteers to see.
Then it occurred to me that a separate thread could be posted with the purpose of allowing people to express their support to the men and women volunteers with the Minuteman Project.
I'm not looking for any glory for myself as my actual volunteer time with the Minuteman Project has been limited for a number of reasons. I've done what I could to help out here and there, but I certainly don't deserve the praise better reserved for those who have sat on the hot and dusty front line for days on end. Those are the real heroes, not me.
So, let's use this thread to let the Minuteman Project volunteers and organizers know just how much we appreciate their patriotic efforts.
Thank you for all that you are doing for our country! You are true patriots and we are so proud of you! God Bless you and keep you safe down there!
Many, many Thanks from Long Island, NY.
I'm in the minuteman corner here.... Alabama bttt...
God bless our Minutemen, both 1776 and 2005.
Thanks, just saw this.
Here's how you say thanks, folks.
When government is infiltrated or for whatever reasons refused to enforce the laws, there is no other choice but for the citizens to take action. As Bill O'Reilley stated today: this country is being invaded.
FReep on, Minutemen and Minutewomen!!!
The Minutemen, have made us feel hope for our great country. We all feel hope, and pride in what you are doing. And believe me, we are all thinking of each of you. And, thinking that we want to join you. Please know that Americans are grateful and praying for you.
We are so very proud of each of you. For those of us who can't be on the Border to help you out, we'll do what we can to donate to this very just cause.
God Bless you all.
Thank you for doing what our government should be doing. Hopefully Washington will get the message loud and clear!!!!
Keep on truckin' we are still watching from here in Texas.
You are American heroes....don't let anyone tell you different. You are doing a job that needed to be done and making history at the same time.
Hope Washington gets the message and the project expands all along the border.
Many of us wish we could be there to share this with you.
Thank you for the attention you have brought to the subject of border security.
Many people still have no idea how bad the border situation is, how far reaching are the economic and cultural consequences of the millions of illegal aliens squatting in our country, nor how high up in the US Government the corruption and malfeasance with regard to border security and illegal immigration goes.
Their eyes are being opened, slowly, painfully, and hopefully not before it is too late.
You are doing the hard work and taking the risks to bring attention to this vital national security issue. You have my support, my prayers, and my admiration.
Be safe, keep the faith, you're in my prayers.
You guys are doing yomans work of freedom and are deserving of all of our thanks for the risks, the commitment, the standing up to misinormation and attacks, weeding oue infiltrations, enduring the threatenings of the Governor of Arizona, and despite it all, volunteering their time, on their dime, to go and do what needs to be done.
In my opinion, you are setting an example for us all and for our government, and I thank you for it, and my family thanks you for it, and we pray for your success and that the effort will grow dynamically as a result of what you have done...of the trailblazing you have accomplished. God bless 'em.
America was running low on Patriots until you folks showed up. To eachand everyone of you I stand at attention and give you a full salute. Many sincere thanks from the Mrs and myself.
Thanks for the wonderful job you are doing. You make me proud to be an American!
You are the new Minutemen of America and your patriotic mission in the defense of this great country will prove to be the pivotal change agent in getting our government to fulfill its constitutional responsibilities. Come Hell or High Water. God Bless You All.
Way to go, Minutemen. With a lot of luck we can get even more out next time; maybe someday cover the entire border.
What might Mexico, the ACLU, MSM, and illegal alien apologists say about that?
Keep up the good work.
THANK YOU MINUTE MEN AND LADIES!!! GOD BLESS YOU ALL FOR YOUR BRAVERY, TIME, AND HARD WORK AND WELL PLANNED EFFORTS!! WE ARE ALL VERY GRATEFUL TO YOU!!!
Ahem. Sorry for the shout, but I just wanted to send just a hint of my personally gratitude to The Minute Men. :)
With you in spirit!
trapped in Phoenix!
For that, I:
To all you 'vigilantes' out there: GOD BLESS YOU! You are the first people in history to ever make a complete fool out of President GW Bush. He richly deserves to look the fool on this issue.
Rest assured that many Americans are praying for you guys.
You are finding out a lot of valuable, unreported information, you are proving that the 'CAN'T BE DONE' crowd is full of BS. You know the score-- the danger of transnational terrorists trumps all other concerns. And, you are getting this issue noticed.
You have handled yourselves admirably, under the watchful eyes of the ACLU.
YOU ARE PATRIOTS!
Message from my Mom:
You are making Bush look he's full of beaurocratic BS, she wishes she could be there with you guys. "You are doing a great job. You're showing the government how foolish they are. Keep up the good work. I'm proud of you. You are real patriots!"
My mom, BTW, has a wall covered with Bush and Laura photos. But she takes borders seriously, too.
"When the minute men gathered at Concord Bridge on April 19, 1775, to face the British, this colorful banner waved over them. The square shape was typical of cavalry flags at the time. Emerson wrote of that battle: "By the Rude Bridge that arched the flood, their flag to April's breeze unfurled, here once the embattled farmers stood and fired the shot heard around the world." Today the "First Flag of the Revolution" may still be seen at the Bedford Library in Bedford, Massachusetts. This priceless relic is the oldest flag in the United States."
You guys are the modern embodiment of this spirit, our sentinals in the scrub proving that (above) average citizens can still make a real difference without "their government's permission". I sincerely regret not being there with you. May God keep you all safe from enemies foreign and domestic. There's no doubt which one of those poses the greater threat. Your participation harms these latter-day Quislings most of all - an unexpected bonus!
And Spiff, you're too modest. Give my regards to JB and I hope IRBP a swift recovery.
Thanks for standing up to the purveyors of political correctness and not backing down in the face of an attack by the liberal media and pro illegal immigration advocates.
The Americans who have risen up against the illegal invasion are not "vigilantes" or "racists" or "the enemy." They are the PATRIOTS, the Minutemen, and their numbers will grow -- and they will win. (sound familiar?)
Border Patriots ~ Bump!
As a Texan, I'm very disapointed that this project was not originated on the Texas border. When it begins here I will participate. God bless the MMP and all who support them.
You Minutemen and Minutewomen are true American heroes. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Thanks for giving our side a voice, guys.
Keep it up.
