(Vanity) Send Your Words of Support to the Volunteers of the Minuteman Project
Spiff | 11 April 2005 | Spiff

Posted on 04/11/2005 10:44:14 AM PDT by Spiff

I was going through a number of threads related to the Minuteman Project to gather the many warm wishes and words of support that so many FReepers have expressed. I want to print them out and take them down to the Minuteman Project HQ and post them for all of the volunteers to see.

Then it occurred to me that a separate thread could be posted with the purpose of allowing people to express their support to the men and women volunteers with the Minuteman Project.

I'm not looking for any glory for myself as my actual volunteer time with the Minuteman Project has been limited for a number of reasons. I've done what I could to help out here and there, but I certainly don't deserve the praise better reserved for those who have sat on the hot and dusty front line for days on end. Those are the real heroes, not me.

So, let's use this thread to let the Minuteman Project volunteers and organizers know just how much we appreciate their patriotic efforts.

To MMP members,

Many thanks from a Ohio resident. Keep up the good work and be safe. You ARE doing the work of our Forefathers and hopefully our President will soon take notice.

There are no words to accurately describe how thankful I am for what you guys are doing. People are just starting to open their eyes, but you guys are way ahead of the curve.
Thank you.

I completely support the Minute Man Project.
I think the men and women who have volunteered their services are proof that America still creates heros from the same stock as our Founding Fathers.

It is a shame that our elected leadership doesn't have a tenth the guts and fortitude of these brave citizens.

Bless you all and thank you.

Since it appears the United States government is less than interested in doing a thing about border security, tell them I THANK THEM and wish them luck and safety. Just maybe all the attention on the Minutemen (suddenly the media is interested in immigration! Wow!) will slap the administration across the face, and cause it to WISE UP.

Great job. Despite the negative media reporting and even President Bush labeling the Minuteman Project as 'vigilantes', what you're doing is working.

But like the good things that happen in Iraq, it will receive little or no coverage.

Thank you Minutemen for doing the job that our government won't do. You are true citizen soldiers defending the USA from an invasion more dangerous to the future of this country than 9-11.

I love the Minutemen. I wish I could participate, but I live too far away. I do pledge to make a financial contribution in the near future. The Minutemen are patriots that are saving this country.

Bush's lack of support in protecting our borders is inexcusable after Sept. 11th. Thanks for letting him know it is WE that elected him, and if he's not gonna do the job WE elected him to do, we'll take it in our own hands.

While I support your strategy to avoid physical confrontation, it is sad that such measures are necessary. Why would that make you the bad guys? Last I checked, citizen's arrests were legal when someone is commiting a crime. It reminds me of the children who were arrested for trying to give water to Terry Schaivo rather than those that were killing her.

You are all patriots, excellent work. BTW all the MSM conjecture about President Bush's poll ratings is baloney. His poll ratings are dropping because he called you names and isn't doing anything about the border.
