Requesting snugs to post some of the pics of Liz Cheney's girls with the VP, especially on Inauguration Day and from the Repub. conventions. They are just dolls, I think, and they obviously adore that wicked, evil old grandfather they have. And vice-versa.

Yes, Liz Cheney is actually a good bit better-looking than the pic you posted. She really looks more like the ones snugs posted. The resemblance to Babs S. is definitely there, though.

You're right, I'm sure Morocco hasn't cornered the market on barbarism by any means. Besides most of my so-called 'knowledge' comes from things like Michener novels, so I can't claim to be a culture expert!

Sounds like an interesting place to research a little bit, I'm going to have to go read a little more about it.

My knowledge is not too hot on Morocco either but from what some people have said on this thread it does not seem to bad (in context at least). It seems that they have a cool headed King with a mind for diplomacy.

I'm guessing she already has trimmed her haircut a good bit. Don't know about the weight, but she's in her 30's and has four children, including a baby about a year old. She has a very high-level law degree (Georgetown? Yale?, I can't remember exactly), a kickass professional resume, and is now an undersecretary of state. Busy lady.

They have a duplicitous power-mad king who is preventing legitimate economic development, presides over a corrupt government, and is no friend of the West. He is just capable of keeping his mouth shut when it's to his advantage, and lying the rest of the time.

Most of the March 11 Madrid bombers came from Morocco, which has a very active Muslim terrorist movement - which the King has stalled any effort to investigate. Conditions are terrible there - why do you think Moroccans drown every day setting out in leaky little boats to get to Spain?

The Spanish government of Zapatero is sucking up to Morocco, giving it huge economic advantages at the expense of Spanish agriculture and fisheries, because Spain hopes to placate Morocco this way. BTW, Moroccan maps show the Spanish North African states (Ceuta and Melilla) as well as the Canary Island colored in Morccan colors.

Our motivations in recently sucking up to Morocco are a little harder to determine: perhaps it is because the King keeps his rhetoric down, perhaps it's to tell the Spanish that one newly unfriendly power controlling the Straits is enough (and that Gr. Britain can probably deal with Spain on that), and that we're going to be paying more attention to Morocco in the future.

Thank you snugs! I just love looking at those girls, they are such cuties. Kate is growing up so fast, isn't she! Every picture I see she looks taller and older. That Elizabeth just looks like a total imp, doesn't she?

Those are better pictures of Liz, too. You can see that she is actually an attractive woman, as well as a very sharp and accomplished one!

Kate I believe is 11 now the VP mentioned her age in a speech a couple of weeks ago saying that Gracie was 5 and Kate 11. So the girls are growing up fast.

Elizabeth does look like an imp I suspect she has her grandmothers vitality and her grandpa's wicked sense of humour, he often appears to me to be mischievous almost impish when he grins.

Yes these photos do show Liz in a better light, I think she favours Lynne both in looks and temperament thinking of some of the TV shows she was on in the election campaign there was a lot of similarities to her and Lynne of a few years ago.

That's part of it. By the way, the Moroccans despise the French. The French influence is a fairly pervasive , but thin , veneer. Want to have a wild old time, go to a Moroccan wedding. Nothing , except the language occasionally spoken, is French. The King is trying to get people to learn English, he thinks that English is the language of the preset and the future. He is correct, too.

Because the terrorists are localized. Rarely do they get out of their rats nest in the disputed parts of the Sahara. The Polisaros are hooked up with Al Qaeda and used to be Soviet clients. The Moroccan groups who committed the mayhem in Holland are from these areas .

The King is a major player in the GWOT, has no use for the Islamofascists and has and will provide more than mere lip service to stopping the killers. The 2003 incident was snuffed out in less than a week. Must have been effective, all the usual suspects lined up to whine about it.

Amen. A brilliant young woman, daughter, mother with a great career ahead of her. She can stand on her own and certainly reflects women and what they can do. Gosh, she did all this without the direction of the feminists too. Just good ole love, support and encouragement from two wonderful parents and a desire to achieve. Am sure the green monster of jealousy will rear its ugly head as people try to criticize her but...she can handle it just like her dad and mom have. Great stock...that's for sure. Not money...just great stock with family values and the like.
