In your dreams you wish babies born in America to "illegal" parents are "illegal" themselves. The Constitution, the law, and the courts all disagree with you. Yet you continue to live in your dream world.

I've finished feeding my horses by then, I'm already wide awake. But you won't be when the errors in the interpretation of the 14th Amendment are corrected. The Constitution also claimed that slaves were only 4/5's of a person. We changed that mistake too. "Citizenships of Convenience", because that is what they really are, will be eventually legislated or adjudicated as unconstitutional or illegal. You, or someone in your family, will have to be deported. Have a nice day.

My predictions are from observation and experience. You fail to perceive the social injustice that illegal immigration inflicts upon other minorities. But then, you've got your citizenship, don't you? Why should you care. Zook, you're a selfish man.

I'd say, IF the non-citizen is a LEGAL immigrant, then, yes the kid is a citizen in that case.
For that matter, if two legal, immigrant non-citizens have a child, but both have been legal in the US for say a decade or more, I'd be OK with automatic citizenship for the child.
