However, Occifer Vic commutes from Crescent City. ;-)
Not a Sussman fan however. Needs work on his delivery. He starts talking normally but by the end of the sentence his voice is in a grating upper register. But he's new to the game. He'll probably get better. Hedgecock was ponderous and barely listenable when he started out, too.
As long as they don't come across the border looking for hand jobs!
Cheers.
He's very credible. A very main stream older guy who is the consumate Reagan Republican.
IIRC, Mexican AF has that big-@ssed Mil-26 from Russia that looks like a C-130 with a rotor-head.
Question...What happened to Homeland Security defense?? This chopper could have been flown in by terrorists with explosives. Not this time, but........

The American Border Patrol report doesn't make sense. Arivaca is not in the Naco Border Patrol station area. Arriva is west of Nogales and is either part of the Nogales or Tucson station.
I have heard from more than one person that Lee lives in Tucson and does his show from there.
A good assault rifle can drop a helicopter quickly if you can ambush it.
Seeing a UH-1 in military markings over the USA is a good indicator of it being an open season target. The USA no longer operates any of those in the military.
I know the Marines still use them and I'm pretty sure the Army and Navy have them as well.

Do you really believe that or did you forget your sarc tag?
No, I'm serious. I think if they wanted to hide something they would have said, "We'll look into it", and then just let it die.

"This sounds like a very unlikely response from the FBI"

True enough.
Assuming that the this report is correct, and some of the facts are open to question (based on the replies), it could be that the fuel truck in the story (which was apparently suspected of a possible drug connection) may have been a Mexican rig, driven by Mexican nationals. Our Feds may have some sort of "hot pursuit" type reciprocal understanding with the Mexican Federal Police about searches such as the one mentioned in the article. Not everyone's interpretation of "national sovereignty", of course, but not exactly part of the "Mexican Invasion".
Perfect example of a legitimate reason to extend the 2nd amendment to include shoulder fired rockets!!!! (not that it doesn't, but it certainly isn't interpreted that way by the courts....... wait a minute, the courts think the 2nd amendment gives the states the rights to have a national guard...Hmmmm)
Anyways, I'll take ten!!!!!
The federal government is the one covering up incursions like this as well as supporting the invasion by doing as little as possible to stop it....
I have the article, clipped and sent by a listener, in front of me right now. It was from the Green Valley News (suburb of Tucson)last week, written by reporter Jim Lamb. The man involved in the encounter was R. D. Ayers, listed as a resident of Arivaca, AZ. Hope this helps. Lee
I googled the names that appeared and it got me this:http://www.nogalesinternational.com/the_bulletin/front/
